Danny Roman Weighs in at 122 lbs.; Defends NABA Title Friday Night

ORANGE, Calif. (Feb. 11, 2016) – Danny Roman makes the second defense of his NABA 122-pound Title on Friday night against Ramiro Robles in Thompson Boxing Promotions “New Blood” 10-round main event.

At Thursday’s weigh in, Roman checked in at 122 lbs., while Robles weighed in over the contract weight at 123.9. As a result, Robles will not be eligible for the championship should he upset Roman.

ORANGE, Calif. (Jan. 28, 2016) – Thompson Boxing Promotions launches its first show of the year with a stacked card featuring world ranked super bantamweight Danny Roman, undefeated heavyweight knockout artist LaRon Mitchell, and top featherweight prospect Erick Ituarte.

The six-fight “New Blood” event takes place on Friday, Feb. 12 from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

(July 26, 2015) – Danny Roman (16-2-1, 5 KOs) continued his winning ways with a landslide points victory over Daniel Noriega (27-10-1, 15 KOs) on Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif. With the victory, Roman captured the vacant NABA super bantamweight championship.

“This is another step in the right direction for me,” said the 25-year-old Roman. “The ultimate goal is to land a world title shot, but first, I need to prove that I belong in that company.”
