CAMERON “THE HAMMER” HAMMOND believes his vacant Commonwealth welterweight title clash with Jack Brubaker will put him on the road to stardom.

The Aboriginal ace, 26, faces “The Ripper” in what will be the first Commonwealth tussle between two Aussies for more than 15 years at the Olympic Sports Park in Sydney on October 29.

And he believes victory could propel him into the 147lb division’s big league.
