Jordan Shimmell, 15-0 with 13 KOs, has just signed a contract with Alan Haymon for him to be Jordan’s advisor. Jordan Shimmell, who is a fast rising prospect/contender in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, turned pro less than 2 years ago and is already the USBO cruiserweight champion and a world ranked boxer. Jordan and his father/manager/trainer Dennis Shimmell Sr had considered several offers during the last year, but being able to join forces with Haymon, just seemed to make the most sense.
Jordan Shimmell, 14-0 with 12 knockouts, will be boxing in an 8 round featured bout at the Danceland Ballroom in Davenport, Iowa on May 31, 2014. This is Jordan’s second time boxing in the historic venue near the Mississippi River as he won his 6th bout there via 2nd round knockout over Clinton Boldridge on November 10, 2012.
