Ok, not seeing any post-fight comments here, I’ll give one. BTW – great intro mr Ciani, a bit of lacking on Saleta’s side, who is/was (as opposed to Golota) a ‘thinking’ fighter, and overall a great sportsman (and was a World Champion in kick-boxing before turning to boxing, where his biggest achievement was EBU belt). In his post fight interview he emphasised that he had 2 reasons to take this fight – one was Golota’s name (unarguably the biggest name in pro heavyweight in Poland history) – the second was ‘teaching by example’ = showing that a man having his kidney cut out (he gave it to his daughter), over 40, can still be in top notch physical shape.

Anyway – prior to the bout even here in Poland this fight was thought of kind of ‘freak fight’ – maybe the contenders were legit, but way past their prime. What they’ve actually shown was extraordinary – there were no jokes in the ring, and I’ve seen tons of worse, slower and less entertaining HW fights on udercards of major events over the past few years (and sometimes as the main event for bigger events than local Polish boxing night).

And, if you’re curious… Saleta won by KO in 6th.

Look at the fear in this guy`s eyes after he was floored by Lewis (in the first found) it was comical, but it was even more comical when he ran out of the ring after being smashed by that tyson right, with his polish fans throwing missiles at him.

Unbiased Dane

Anonymous: lol you find the slow pole more exciting than the Klitschko ! you rather watch a punchbag getting humiliated than watching highclass fighters.

compare: boring fights of K2, and exciting events with Andrew Golota, Golota said that he fixed his left hand, we will see, his come back is possible, but he his 45……???

Golota is one of my biggest disappointments, the guy had it all (well, except for sanity, maybe) – he coulda been Champ for a long time, if he just got his emotions together – I’m still rooting for him, though

Golota Vitali will happen

Old Man

Golota should stay retired. His great fights with Bo are long behind him.

Golota is awesome !

Golota has been shot for years (at least since the time of that fight with Mollo) and this fight, should it go forward, is nothing more than a travesty. Whoever this joker Saleta is, he gets zero credit for beating a way-past-his-prime Golota.

Saleta has been active in MMA over the course of the last few years. So Saleta will be in better shape no daubt. UD to Saleta.
