The former 2-time world title challanger and Commonwealth champion Sam Soliman did a great job in this fight and he deserved to win. I mabey will be hard now in my verdict BUT Felix Sturm effort in the fight proved that he have never been an elite fighter and just a made up paper champion who havent fought any serius top man sence Oscar De La Hoya back in 2004, a contest he lost by UD on all cards and even if some people say it was a robbery, I dissagree and find it to be only a SD loss or generous a DRAW but De La Hoya was better that – btw De La Hoya went on for unify the world middleweight title belts against the middleweight champion of the world Bernard Hopkins = Hopkins KO’s him and there was the first man ever in boxing history to at same time hold all 4 major world title belts (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) and the lineal crown as well all in same weight class and the middleweight division got a ruler for a time and the crown passed on to Jermain Taylor and then Kelly Pavlik end of story. Sturm would NEVER have taken hi9s WBO title and fought Hopkins as he avoided him and the rest later on. Thats over 8 years ago and Sturm NEVER in first place won the middleweight title from the universal recognised world champion line – Bernard Hopkins, Jermain Taylor or Kelly Pavlik. Sturm waited them all out and ignored Arthur Abraham as well. Now Sturm can go home, retire and enjoy life outside boxing becouse he won’t be missed outside Germany. I’m sorry but Felix Sturm is a very overrated ex champion,
