YOUNG D…H.O.F. is about being famous because of your skills. You can be famous for fighting brave but being k.o. in 3 title fights..or you can be famous for the way you lose. That dosent mean you should be in the H.O.F. Every sport where a guy gets in its because he reached a certain level in the sport in basketball he scored so many points so forth its his skill level overall. And yes Stallone got in because of the movies…but thats also why alot of people were against it.H.O.F. in boxing should be the same as H.O.F. in every other sports only the top realm guys…and Gatti and Ward were good solid fighters but were a cut below championship level.

If Gatti got in i would hope that Hatton gets in when the time comes.

Gatti is one of those borderline guys whos following outweighs his achievements. I wouldn’t complain either way tbh.

Young D

Its called hall of fame not hall of skill. Gatti was one of the most entertaining fighters in his day, and thats what its all about, entertainment. Stallone is in there because he entertained (rocky movies) and brought boxing back into the public eye. If joe public switched on and seen Gatti vs Ward he would be interested and entertained. Gatti belongs in the HOF.

Boxing Fan since 30 years

Glad to see Virgil Hill and Mills Lane now into the HOF, Hill was one my favorite boxer, great boxing style, and always with a great attitude, Lane is just the greatest referee ever, and Jimmy Lennon Jr is a real top ring announcer (like Michael Buffer), the rest are classless and wannabes announcers

Fighters like Gatti(R.I.P.)and Ward have steel balls and HUGE hearts. Both overall are very solid fighters but are a cut below H.O.F. status.Yes there are guys in there who dont have the guts that they have but H.O.F. should be judged on who you titles..overall skills.

Tomato Can

Arturo’s skill doesn’t belong in the Hall, but his heart does. Gatti’s heart in the ring, gets him there IMO. Grats to Arturo, Virgil and Mills…

Is very debatable if he should make it in for his career accomplishment but however it is called the Hall of Fame and fame something he had a lot of so judging by that criteria he deserves it

Arturo does NOT belong in the HOF – He lost to every really good fighter he fought.
