sore toe.

Eric, for a huge guy, Fury does dance around ring very well. He has good movement, and Chisora is going to see it. I think Chisora is damaged goods now after Haye KAYOED him. A better fight would have benn Fury/Haye. Haye is around, I see him at ringside, but he ain’t fightin. What is up Haye??

is groves on the undercard.

Posted June 20, 2014 9:32 am

Del Boy gonna get slapped around in this street fight. Slappy, slappy, slap slap.

Posted June 20, 2014 3:05 am

I love the way tyson fury has eloquent grace as he moves around the ring, his timing is impeccable.

Furys chin is made of a diamond like substance, his physical stature is that of a combination of Greek solider, swimmer and bodybuilding champion.

Furys speed is overwhelming and I believe I may have heard a sonic boom after a lighting fast jab that he threw from his abs of steel.

Blinding speed, incredible power, shredded body and a iron chin, what more could one expect ??

I’m just joking lol.

Posted June 19, 2014 6:17 pm

both c level bums. move on.

Posted June 19, 2014 11:25 am

Fury will win either by KO or wide UD

Posted June 19, 2014 1:23 am

bill Patrice jones – good solid analysis. I like it and agree

Posted June 19, 2014 12:56 am

joker – huh? Cunningham caught him with a ripping punch, fury wasn’t even slightly hurt, despite hitting the canvas. getting knocked down doesn’t mean you have a weak chin, it just means you got caught. I’ve never seen fury hurt, and the big oaf gets tagged big in every fight he has.

Posted June 19, 2014 12:52 am

both are fairly crude sluggers, with wide, looping punches. An average big guy will usually beat an average small guy. look for fury to KO chis in the 7th. Fury is a better boxer than what most people believe, He’s a good boxer but not a great one. chis is just plain ordinary

Carl Pratt

I think Fury shows up and roughs up Chisora into a TKO loss for Chisora. Fury gonna mess him up because he likes a good scrap and he is a fighter.

Posted June 18, 2014 11:24 pm

Bill Patrice Jones

This fight is all on Fury. If he’s disciplined and focused he should dominate Chisora more handily than last time, if he’s arrogant, loose and not focused then it could be a disaster night for him. Chisora is going to swing big in the first 3 rounds and it’s up to Fury not to get hit. Whenever Chisora did open up in the first fight he had Fury in some trouble. This fight wouldn’t be interesting if both were reliable, but they aren’t. They’re unpredictable. Because Fury is hard to predict in terms of performance this fight is not easy to predict

Posted June 18, 2014 11:15 pm

Let’s hope not.

Fight Aficionado

Chisora will definitely be in better shape than the first bout. Wach as a sparring partner is perfect and also his new diet will presumably keep him at a lighter weight. Question is the shape Fury shows up in. Last time he was fat.

Posted June 18, 2014 5:41 pm

Why didn’t he KO Fury last time?.

Posted June 18, 2014 4:41 pm

What he should of said is if chisora don’t ko him early fury will win on points

Posted June 18, 2014 2:18 pm

I’m not much of a Wilder fan, but not a hater, he surely has plenty to prove. While facing limited opponents he’s gone a bit farther than I expected. But then again Fury hasn’t been too convincing himself, although he has faced better opposition. I will say that if he and Fury face off…. I’d be tempted to pick Wilder. Fury has decent skills but has a leaky defense and is definitely chinny. Wilder will connect, the question is… will Fury withstand and take it to the latter rounds?? It’s a fight I would like to see and probably be more entertaining than the Hwt fights we’ve been getting. Peace to all!!

Bret says.., “Chisora and Fury are bums.”

How many bums make millions in one night Bret? If they’re bums, you would have to rise up several levels to be a bum.

Posted June 18, 2014 2:23 am

Vlad easily won every round against Wach. The one punch that Wach landed did not hurt Vlad as he just moved Wach around and kept punching the hell out of him. After that fight Wach tested positive for roids and before the fight one of Wach’s gloves was tampered with. Haye knocked Chisora out easily…………..

Posted June 18, 2014 2:11 am

anonymous – yes tall and lean and both have a wicked right hand…not a weird comparison. As for fighting bums? lol liakhovich was a world champ – stay anonymous drrr

Posted June 17, 2014 10:31 pm

I am just glad they are fighting, should be fun. Picking Fury, since maybe only hoping that he starts getting serious, and we already know Chisora can’t compete at the top level.

Posted June 17, 2014 9:57 pm

Since Fury beat Chisora last time, I can’t believe how little he has achieved.
He should win the rematch, as I just don’t think Chisora has the power to stop him, and can’t see Chisora out boxing Fury.

What a shame Haye has done nothing since stopping Chisora too.

Pretty dreadful overall.

Posted June 17, 2014 9:11 pm

Fury’s chin is paper mache. Chisora could lay him out for sure

Posted June 17, 2014 9:08 pm

I see Yson winning this one, but it isn’t a cakewalk. Another good contender vs. contender fight. Should be fun once the man retires to see who takes over. Outside of possibly Wilder (impossible to say how good he is) I don’t see anyone dominating for long. Pulev and Povetkin are the most likely to stay champ for an extended period of time after Wlad.

Posted June 17, 2014 6:34 pm

An early KO by either wouldn’t be surprising. Anything can happen in this one; looking forward to it.

Posted June 17, 2014 6:21 pm

Mr X

Chisora tough as he is is rather one dimensional. He is just a come forward pressure fighter and can be outboxed if you have the tools. Fury beat him last time they fought and if he comes in good shape like he did last time as well as use his reach advantage and jab he will win this fight again.

Swedish Boxing Fan

European heavyweight champion “Del Boy” Dereck Chisora (20-4-0 KO’s 13) vs. Tyson Fury (22-0-0 KO’s 16)
for the European & Commonwealth heavyweight titles.

Dereck Chisora is the #1 WBO mandatory contender & #7 by WBC & 12 by WBA. – #12 by Fightnews.
Tyson Fury is #4 by WBO, #7 by IBF, #10 by WBC & #14 by WBA. – #4 by Ring Magazine & #4 by Fightnews.

This fight has it all on the line. Bothe men are on to of there game and the Brittish rivalry is intense good.
Tyson Fury won the 1st fight with a UD they had back in July 2011, and Fury was the most interesting heavyweight contender between them BUT Chisora have evolved sence then.

Having been involved in several great fights and fought tough opponents like WBC champ Vitali Klitschko, David Haye, Robert Helenius etc and won a lot of heavyweight belts like the European heavyweight crown & the WBA/WBO International heavyweight titles, so he have built up a lot more ring expearence to his advantage this time, like Fury cant say he have done the same.

Tyson Fury have sence 2011 only fought former 2-time cruiserweight world champion Steve “USS” Cunningham as most worthy name followed by Kevin Johnson, BUT have also won some titles like the Commonwealth crown, the Irish heavyweiught title & the WBO Inter-continental heavyweight belt so something he have picked up as well, just not that expearence he should have made in 3 years of time.

I look forward for this fight with Dereck Chisora vs. Tyson Fury II.

Intellectual contribution Bret.

Chisora and Fury are bums!

Posted June 17, 2014 4:42 pm

Wach, and his comments, are hardly relevant in any case. IMHO he would struggle to beat either of them.

Posted June 17, 2014 4:24 pm

Manscorpian tark

Fury got too high on god. Good hates gypsies so Tyson would have been better sacrificing one of his dahgs to beelzebub.

Posted June 17, 2014 4:15 pm

fury is fabulous, he will ko chisora and wach when they fight, fury will be champion for a very long time

Posted June 17, 2014 3:52 pm

Just so you know

Neither guy is a big puncher but if anyone is likely to go over its Fury, whether or not he’ll stay down is another matter. Fury has been put over by lighter punchers than Chisora whereas only Haye has had Chisora all over the place and Chisora has mixed in much better company. Chisora beat himself in the first fight by coming in out of shape, if he prepares right this time then he’ll likely outwork Fury to win on points perhaps putting Fury down a couple of times along the way.

Posted June 17, 2014 3:42 pm

Fury should beat Chisora. And inside the distance. DC is a tough one and has a achieved higher levels than his skills would suggest. That said, at the moment neither trouble Wlad. Stiverne vs Fury could be a reasonable contest but that trinket is meaningless. Wlad is the acknowledged ruler of the division and to be the man you got to beat the man. Eventually Wlad will retire or get beaten, then the titles will pass around a bit. Know your history peeps. I am the greatest fight historian ever born.

It was interesting how easily David Haye stopped Chisora.

Giving away almost 40 pounds he very quickly broke Dereck down and crushed him. When you don’t like your opponent—or when you disrespect your opponent immensely—it helps you maintain your cool and concentration throughout training camp. It’s like Froch-Groves. You basically want to arrive in perfect mental and physical condition on the night—and can’t wait to tear your opponent’s head off. You would hate to lose to such a low-life shltass.

And after such a euphoric and satisfying victory it’s damned near impossible to maintain that same focus and iron willed determination for your next fight. You relax a little. Chisora had 5 fights since his destructive loss. Haye had none (0). Now DC has the fight Haye wanted. He put in loads of work and many camps since his last Fury fight. It’s his 25th pro fight.

Staying busy is important. Fighting logical matchups instead of cans is important. If you do, you generally get mentally and physically sharper, better, and stronger with each camp. Chisora is on a roll. His game hasn’t changed but it’s gotten better.

Fury is a better boxer than Chisora — but his last fight that had any more value than a sparring session was over 2 years ago. Fury was in horrendous condition for his last fight, taking on a creampuff. If you’re a fat and lazy dude you need tough opponents to inspire you. Tyson might not believe Chisora is one of those. He beat him so easy last time. He’s pretty relaxed about it.

Wilder is nothing. I could sting him to death and pull him apart with my claws by there is no meat on those bones

Posted June 17, 2014 1:33 pm

detroitko, got to agree with you. fury is not a great boxer. he has a lot of heart, ill give him that, gets off the floor a lot though, too sloppy in defense. he is just big and awkward. as for beating waldimir not a chance.

Fury is a terrible fighter – watch knockdown vs USS Cunningham lol

Posted June 17, 2014 12:20 pm

Yeah… Chisora COULD KO Fury… Just like Wach COULD have KOed Wlad – but he didn’t, did he?

Posted June 17, 2014 11:51 am

No Chisora will not KO Fury. In fact Fury will KO Chisora on his way to beating Mr. Klitschko. I am the greatest fight PROPHET ever born!!!!

Posted June 17, 2014 10:53 am

Wach is a cheat, with very limited skills. No shocker him saying Chisora could k.o. Fury early…because he is being paid by the Chisora If this jerk was in the Fury camp he would be saying how Fury will kill Chisora with little effort…
