The ONLY question wroth debating is whether Froch will grow old overnight. Only way Groves wins. Groves hit Froch with his sweetest and it wasnt enough….

Agree with bearcat

Bearcat.., “Poor analytic skills Tark; expected better than that from you. Go and watch the fight again, sober.”

I suggest you watch the fight again, and down a few shots to relax you.

You missed a ton that I picked up from the fight. Froch didn’t just start hurting Groves in the 9th.

He was ripping him good with inside flurries for a few rounds. He was beating the crap out of him. That’s why Groves’ face looked like damned hamburger.

Why does Froch speak similarly to Jimmy Savile? Are they related?

Groves hits hard enough to KO Froch, if he gets a super good lick in.

But… he caught Carl with a terrific shot in the 1st round of the 1st fight… He had Carl hurt worse than he’s ever been hurt … and what happened is this: Carl shook the shot off and started attacking Groves as early as the 5th… and hurting him.

By the 9th the handwriting was on the wall… Groves was heading out.

Groves is going to be better this time, and Froch is going to be older… Will that make a big difference?? … NOPE!!!

Andre Ward hopes it does… But one fight is not enough to consolidate your experience into a winning effort—over somebody who just stopped you in 9… and will move Heaven and Earth to do it again in more destructive fashion … because he hates your ass.

We get to watch the fight on HBO. Meaning we are only paying 10 bucks to watch it since that is what it cost for the subscription. Taking Froch by late stoppage.

Anonymous, I know where your coming from but a vacant bantamweight title fight and a couple of final eliminators isn’t bad. Especially considering Sky have in the past made us pay to watch Amir Khan V Dimitriy Salita haha.

Groves will win a wide points victory!

Sugar Ray

The Froch v Groves fight won’t last long. In front 80,000 screaming fans, with both disliking each other intensely, both gunning to hammer each other. I’d be surprised if this fight went beyond round three. I’m taking Groves by early stoppage in front of his own hometown fans.

how much will the yanks have to pay. lol.

Posted May 27, 2014 3:09 pm

Froch is not the most skilled boxer in the world and he doesn’t have the fastest hands or footwork, but he is awesome at what he does…getting his opponents to fight his kind of fight and winning purely because he is physically tougher than they are. Groves can whine about their first fight and whilst definitely premature, froch was doing exactly this to groves in rounds 7, 8 and 9. Groves was being forced into fighting in a gruelling slugfest which suited froch far more do to his durability. Also don’t ever glance over froch’s level of opponent. Without doubt he has the toughest resume of any current world champion and has fought the very best in his division. Yusaf Mack aside, froch has fought world class opponents in every one of his fights since Pascal in .

We’ll said mick, talk about hype this is over kill,to be honest I think for 17quid the card is a bit weak

Mick the Marmalizer

I’m starting to get a bit bored with all the hype going on with the Froch/Groves fight.
My point is, why no mention of the up coming Stuart Hall, Lee Haskins & Jamie McDonnell contests who will also provide 100% entertainment?
