Did anyone actually watch Zou on the Saturday card.
His first pro fight was rubbish, he was still very much an amateur, rushing around like a maniac.
But after watching his fourth fight I am impressed he’s coming along in leaps and bounds under Freddy Roach.

Fight Aficionado

Why HBO runs this card is beyond me. Nobody cares about it in the US. They skipped a ton of heavyweight title fights in Germany yet run this glorified tuneup of a random dude in China?

te tumbo. I think TR is promoting Zou due to his huge popularity. In one of the boxing mags I have read recently it says he has one billion fans. That’s a market worth trying to tap. Also when I watch boxing at the venues live I see fighters placed higher up the cards than better more established professionals due to the fact that they sell a huge amount of tickets off their own back.

“prominent” as in continually shoved into our faces as an undercard in Arum’s PPV spectacles. otherwise NOT interesting as in why are we hearing so much about a 30-something fighter with less than 5 pro bouts? Get It? you may need a refresher course in reading comprehension.

Another token of Arum’s disrespect for our intelligence. TeTumbo, “prominent”?
As a pro he has never even had a 10 rd fight. You drinking the Arum kool aid too? Title fight? Arum is a shyster and a sideshow hawker who would put two pigs in petticoats in the ring if anybody will pay to see it. Thank goodness managers are finally steering your fighters away from top Rank. Bob’s got some promising fighters hogtied in there now and we won’t get to see them not even on the undercard of the endless rematches of his regulars.

Zou Shiming has got to be the least interesting but prominent fighter in the sport right now.

Juicing for 14 years straight.

Another shady event set up by the criminal enterprise known as Top Rank.

They should name this card “Hunger Strike”
