Did anyone actually watch Zou on the Saturday card.
Why HBO runs this card is beyond me. Nobody cares about it in the US. They skipped a ton of heavyweight title fights in Germany yet run this glorified tuneup of a random dude in China?Posted February 22, 2014 8:16 pm
te tumbo. I think TR is promoting Zou due to his huge popularity. In one of the boxing mags I have read recently it says he has one billion fans. That’s a market worth trying to tap. Also when I watch boxing at the venues live I see fighters placed higher up the cards than better more established professionals due to the fact that they sell a huge amount of tickets off their own back.Posted February 22, 2014 6:27 pm
“prominent” as in continually shoved into our faces as an undercard in Arum’s PPV spectacles. otherwise NOT interesting as in why are we hearing so much about a 30-something fighter with less than 5 pro bouts? Get It? you may need a refresher course in reading comprehension.Posted February 22, 2014 11:58 am
Another token of Arum’s disrespect for our intelligence. TeTumbo, “prominent”?

Another shady event set up by the criminal enterprise known as Top Rank.Posted February 21, 2014 4:17 pm
