Mr. Dan

Another great win for Kubrat Pulev…He’s got all qualities to beat Wladimir..

Wlаdimir bеаt аnd f.u.c.k mаnу blаck guуs, Vitаli to! Pulеv pеnis is 23sm bulgаriаn is а big plауboу.

pulev and wlad are both popular in europe. they are very popular in germany. it is a money maker. pulev-wlad 2014!

That is not the “real” PEEJ posting.

Posted December 16, 2013 2:35 am

Ya Peej we all saw that with Broner, he got his butt kicked ….MoFo.

Posted December 16, 2013 2:23 am

Pulev is very talented and athletic but he is not a puncher. Even his last few KOs have come by chopping down his opponent. If he fights wlad he will try to do what sultan did. Jab and move. It would be a boring fight and wlad would clearly win.

Any news on Vitali’s deadline to keep the WBC? I suspect the trouble in Kiev will push him to boxing retirement and begin a career as a new Lech Walesa or Yeltson.

Old School Rules

If they could sell Wlad-Pianeta, I see no reason why they can’t sell Wlad-Pulev.

billy medals. you really are a sad little northener.

Posted December 15, 2013 3:52 pm

Die Siener

Pulev is dull and punches like Tex Cobb. WLAD will KO him quick, but there is no money in it.

pulev-wlad 2014!

Pulеv will f.u.c.k Dеl Вoу

Posted December 15, 2013 1:46 pm

You have to give Pulev credit for his last 2 opponents before Abel. Thompson KOed the British hope, David Price, twice. Ustinov after being stopped by Pulev beat the old timers hope, David Tua. Both Thompson and Ustinov would be a 50/50 fight for any of the other contenders. That being said Pulev against Wlad, NO. Just NO!

Slim Whitman

think it could be a big year for big Dereck, lol bring it on bro lol

mr gav

I think the HW division is beginning to shape up nicely. We can assume waldimir will look for fighters outside top 40. But as the rest go we have lots of interesting hard to predict 50/50 fights.Wilder is a largely unknown quantity and will be interesting to see how he is against any sort of quality. Chisora is on a roll and looking for big fights, he may not be anymore than a gate keeper. uBuT he gives 100% fury is fun to watch and somewhat chinny. Pulev is a strong fighter with good skill set pivetkin is half decent. Robert hellanis is massively over rated and will be koed in no time. Also fighters like Perez are on the way up with. So talent is here I just hope 2014 can make these fights happen. And when vitali retires the WBC belt will be sought out by all promoters as the easy and maybe the only route to a world championship so all these fight will happen if we can leave waldimir out of the picture

Posted December 15, 2013 1:12 pm

Hh, Pulev could win against all three if he can adapt to their different styles and comes out of his shell. Chisora and Styverne have fought tougher opposition than Wilder and Pulev. The unknown quantities are Wilder and to some extent Pulev as well. We all know how they deal with inferior opposition but we don’t know how will they act under pressure. He could win or he could get exposed if he walks into a big shot. Povetkin and Solis would be the real tests to bring out Pulev’s true colors. Arreola has the forward brawler style to give Pulev a run for his money. It could all be very interesting if fights weren’t made by promoters but by a single sanctioning body.

Well, whatever people say about Pulev it is obvious that he is in all HW followers talks and after every bout he becomes more and more of a riddle. Not only for boxing fans but also for his opponents and other contenders. We all doubt him and a lot of people know how to deal with him but when they step in the ring and he does his thing, every time in the same mode and … think about it… what happens if he survives the first 6 rounds against Wlad without absorbing too many power shots. He can go the distance against anybody. He did it against 300 lb Ustinov. He is heavier than Wlad and a assume a much better wrestler?

“Why would anyone even write about this fight and bring attention to Snoozer? ”
Answer: Well, you do! Two postings of now 11 have been wiritten by you, so you obviously are interested. Thanks for supporting hw boxing so much and especially for your interest in Pulev!

Posted December 15, 2013 10:30 am

Another boxing fan, the appropriate nick for Pulev is Snoozer for putting fans to sleep instead of opponents. Why would anyone even write about this fight and bring attention to Snoozer? This boring fight should have been forgotten before it started.

Broner’s trainer is delusional. He’s hyping his student just as much or more than the fan boys out there. That’s not good for the trainer to lose grip of reality. Maidana is lucky to have been the man to beat the kid. Broner’s trash talk is world class but that’s all that’s world class about Broner.

The nickname of Pulev is more appropriate than the nickname of Froch. The quck jab of Pulev is like the strike of cobra, however Froch is the cobra (he is small guy), Pulev is the king cobra :D

Posted December 15, 2013 8:24 am

There is only one Cobra – Carl Froch. Pulev is a joke, Froch punches harder than him.

the hw division needs more plastic belts, by next spring there wont be enough to go round.

Being realistic is not the same as being critical. I believe Kubrat has achieved more than anyone ever expected from him and has played his cards wisely.
He knows his limitations and this makes him more effective. He doesn’t throw a lot hooks and uppercuts because he knows he can’t punch and saves energy. He prefers to outlast his opponents using his vast experience as an amateur, his technical knowledge and his uncompromising conditioning.
He has no inside game. He has not scored a knock down with a power shot to the head in his career. His stoppage wins have come as a result of a cumulative effect and fatigue. This does not make him a lesser fighter. Being a technician and tactician means not only knowing what to do, but what not to do as well. His limitations have made him more disciplined.
Instead of chanting praises I prefer to point out things that you can’t hide anyway. If this makes me a more credible observer, than any praise I might have should be more credible as well. It has to be deserved against a tough opponent . If you read my Pulev-Thompson articles on this site, you would know better than to get angry at stating the obvious. Read b/n the lines.

I expect the author to eat his words after Klitschko-Pulev fight. I’m not saying that Pulev will win, but it will be the most interesting fight of Klitschko since very very long time. Btw. look at the face of Pulev, it is obvious that he can take hit by a truck, how comes that he has unreliable chin? In this fight Pulev slipped, there was no knock down. Smth is very wrong with this article at all.

wlad-pulev 2014!

Posted December 15, 2013 6:56 am

Atanas Ivanov

I can’t understand why the author is claiming Pulev has no power, and the KD was a total sweep Judo style, so Pulev didn’t got caught or something. And you Mr. Ivanov are obviosly a bulgarian so instead of suporting, you are allways very critical about Kubrat. Why is that? He did a good job against a not so great oponent but we all know that Abell is good puncher not a technitian, and Kubrat did what he was supoused to do- early KO. Ofcourse he was cautios in the first round he is not a brawler to go right at him, but OMG he KOed Dimitrenko, Ustinov, Sprott, Skelton… He has a good % 52 something KO ratio. How is that not power? And some of these guy were never KOed. Or maybe you prefer Wilder because of hius 30 KOs wich he did on your grandpa and the local burger flipper? Yeah we can send Kubrat some 15 ot so Abell’s level fighter an he will Ko them early and maybe then he will become the bigest puncher ever for you. Do me a favor spot writing BS bro.
