Ward vs Kovalev says.., “Ward should fight him, knocking everyone out, even Cleverly, Ward needs to be like Ali when he fought Foreman, fight Kovalev, use your skills like Ali.”

Even Cleverly??? Cleverly never had a moment where he was winning… Kovalev is as much like Foreman as Golovkin is like Pavlik.

Foreman couldn’t box and neither could Pavlik.

And Ward is no Ali… Ward doesn’t hide behind his gloves and take punishment… Ward punches to the body… And he defends better… Kovalev punches real hard… That’s only thing he has in common with Foreman—who ate jabs and everything else.

Styles make fights, guys…Anyone who goes into a fight looking to simply counter Paulie with a hard, explosive shot is going to have a lot of trouble timing him because of his ability get in and out of range with sporadic movement. His head feints and upper body movement is extremely underrated. He doesn’t throw in consistent rhythm and is very hard to time.

This is why both Adrien and Zab had trouble getting off against a very crafty boxer who keeps you at angles like Paulie malignaggi.

If any fighter allows Paulie to take the lead and dictate the pace of the fight, he’s a very difficult fighter to figure out.

Beating the LOSER worse doesn’t deserve MUCH props. Beating the WINNER deserves props. That’s why I give Provodnikov more props than Manny on their last WINS and I give him more props than Paulie TOO…Time for Paulie to at least take on a WINNER IF he’s not going to face a CHAMP.

Regarding Paulie taking the spirit out of Judah, Andre said it best as he voiced thoughts for Judah: “Hey, this is a guy who shouldn’t be beating me and is actually at the point of whooping my a$$ right now.”

And as you said: “Whatever Judah did bring? Paulie took it out of him. Very beautiful performance by Paulie.”

A lot of boxing fans don’t know a great performance when they see it–especially when it involves Paulie Malignaggi. I’m glad you guys did because I felt the same way you did and Paulie deserves loads of credit for what he did on Saturday night.

After all, Judah gave Danny Garcia a fair whipping, yet Paulie was able to shut Zab down. That’s impressive.

Hey Vivek, I’m listening to your show. It’s great the way you and Andre gave Paulie props for his performance against Zab Judah. Andre said it best: “
