The cuban, highly hyped by Donaire haters that are also Pac haters, is irrelevant to Donaire and the boxing promoters both on the business and fighting sides of the sport. Despite his supposedly “impressive” and limited resume against journeymen boxers, he is not even ranked in the P4P list of the top ten boxers in where Nonito is highly rated. To say that Nonito is afraid of Rigo is ridiculous. I have not seen the cuban broke the jaw of an opponent (Mathebula), made a boxer flap his legs in the canvas with a counter-left ( Montiel)and knock a boxer silly that he had to run around the ring trying to find something to hold on (Darchinyan) . All the talk about Nonito is avoiding him because of his (Rigo) skills is nothing but wishful thinking and shows nebulous opinion of one’s knowledge of the sport.

Donaire should be fighting the real 122lb king pin Rigo.I shouldnt even have to mention his name.Donaires last fight was ridiculous, the guy has skill but lacks ring iq something guillermo has left over way more than enough. No body shots lol even chavez sr had to point out to a so called top 5 p4p fighter how emberassing.I can´t even remeber how many KO´s by body shot the cuban has alone.Donaire can run but he can´t hide from the truth & his destiny, a big fat L to the most complete fighter in the game.I´ve said it time & time again It´s just a matter of time,Rigo will send shockwaves throughout the boxing world if he get´s his chance.

Chicago guy

The fight between Nonito and Arce was canceled because Arce is asking too much money that he doesn’t deserve. Nishioka is a great option than Rigon d joke. This Cuban joker got only 8 knock out in his resume against tricycle driver opponents. Why Nonito need to give a chance to fight him for a big paycheck. It is a dumb idea in boxing if business is concern.

Great card (and much better than Donaire v Arce, who is done but still game). Makes me want to fly out to CA to see it

Don’t waste time thinking about Golden Boy vs. Top Rank fights, they won’t happen until Bob Arum retires or drops dead.

Good fight nonetheless…………. really want to see Donaire vs Rigo.. but the least they can do is match him up against Mares.. even if there is a GBP vs TR feud…

Arce was the one who backed out.

The Mad Scientist

These fights should be good, I’ll be at homedepot center with the crew for this card..

Big Al

Someone must’ve decided that Arce would still put up somewhat of a fight. Better idea to let him ripen a little more, setting up another spectacular KO situation for Donaire. Will he disappoint again?
