Browne is a fraud like Wilder .But Wilder could beat this fat unconditioned brawler .

Nice Tat Art. Big White Dude with big guns and big fists. Let us see Chisora with him and see what he can do.

The Browne Bomber has arrived. Not to be confused with Joe Lewis who was the original Brown Bomber. Big Daddy has an E on his brown …. Lets see him him in with Price or Adamek or Chisora.

yep put a gimp mask on him and put him on a fisting DVD cover. It will be a hot seller.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Chisora beats Browne too, with the dishonest cheating duffers who referee Dereck’s home fights. Boxing needs to be seen to be fair or else, stop the whole complete farce!

Browne can call out chisora who would take the fight as would mike perez. He could call our lepai or ustinov but he chooses to fight a bum he has already beaten. He did well against towers but towers looked terrible. Towers is much much worse than price wilder or fury.

Posted December 6, 2013 6:29 am

and to think some idiots pay money to watch these clowns.

Posted December 6, 2013 5:39 am

I’d like to see Wilder fight Brown or Arreola. Then maybe we can find out if Wilder can actually take a punch. We know Wilder can give it BUT can he take it?

Posted December 6, 2013 3:18 am

Fight Af – Browne already fought Tillman early when he career wasn’t fulltime serious as it is now, and it went 12 rounds. I think Browne is looking to avenge that 12 rounds (although he won) with a KO. Also it keeps him busy until some of these so-called contenders and other prospects grow a set to face him. He has called out numerous guys, like Price, Fury, Leapai etc and it took Towers 3 attempts to get the nerve to face him. No doubt that possibly all the guys he has called out are all technically better but Browne is a solid unit who packs a punch and doesn’t fear anyone, yet. He actually wants to fight and that seems to be quite rare in the heavies these days. Chisora is probably the only other heavy who stays as busy as Browne at the moment.

Who is this guy Browne ? or in this matter, Price I haven’t heard of either one….. PEACE….

“The interesting thing about Price is whilst his chin is very suspect his power is awsome. I know he’s only been knocking out domestic level competition but the way he did it was pretty awsome.” – In other words he’s exactly similar to Wilder, only he’s faced better comp. So Wilder’s still undefeated and Price is not.

Browne should forget about Price and focus on Chisora, who he’s evidently going to fight for the Commonwealth belt. He doesn’t need to think about Clarence Tillman who nobody’s ever heard of so I’ll presume it’s a guaranteed KO win.

Price appears to be a fair enough guy, but the Thompson rematch showed he’s just not got what it takes to be a major player in boxing.

this guy would run a prison ward

as long as I live I never want to hear that guy ask me “What did you say about me mum”.

Posted December 5, 2013 3:18 pm

When you only have one roll of the dice left, you make sure it is a good roll. The WBC standings are weak at the moment – look at WIlder he got to #3 off of beating Harrison and Liakhovich, two unranked fighters. Price can be manouvered for one big shot with a few fringe opponents.

Posted December 5, 2013 3:08 pm

Browne vs wilder, see who becomes the best of the bums.

Posted December 5, 2013 2:43 pm

Mr Gav

I don’t rate price highly but he has real power to KO anyone in this division. He will need 4 or 5 fights under Adam booth and with a decent promotion team behind him.( frank Maloney and frank warren did a awful job for him and frank warren just wants to milk his moneys worth out of him and would risk his whole carrerr against an inform full of confidence chisora) this is why price made 2 very good carrerr choices. But even with that I don’t think he will do better in his career than chisora and Tyson fury.

boxing barlow

The interesting thing about Price is whilst his chin is very suspect his power is awsome. I know he’s only been knocking out domestic level competition but the way he did it was pretty awsome. People talk about Chisora and Fury but Price was KOing with ease guys who would have given Chsora and Fury a bit of a rough ride. On the flip side you couldnt imagine Thompson KOing chisora full stop and he wouldnt be able to do the kind of job on Fury as he did on Price. Thats the exciting thing about Price is that you just dont know. He could get KO’d by a rubbish fighter but has the power to get to and KO a Klitchko.

Posted December 5, 2013 1:35 pm

He’d spark the Aussie now, Browne has no skill what so ever and is easy to hurt!

Posted December 5, 2013 1:19 pm

George E. Smith III

The Price Is Right! He should rebuild over the next year or so, but eventually he’ll have to step up. Price was demolished by Cammarelle in the Olympics, so maybe he just doesn’t take that good a southpaw punch…or any good punch.

Posted December 5, 2013 1:15 pm

Mr Gav

Nailed it boxing Barlow. I think 2014 should be a year where price fights some durable but not dangerous fighters. And the likes of chisora and fury can start on the big boys. Its all about the WBC belt now that vitali is likely to give up as no one is remotely good enough to take a belt from a klitchow. And talking of Browne why not Browne vs Chisora? Both in line for a commonwealth title, both ranked , both on good form and mite prseant a 50\50 fight?

Posted December 5, 2013 12:57 pm

Price has done all he is gonna do in boxing. Needs a new profession.

Posted December 5, 2013 12:55 pm

Tony Thompson has good skills but not a great punch. Price should retire and I bet he will soon.

Posted December 5, 2013 11:54 am

Price needs to be put with with heavy weight who can take him 12 rounds but are not ultra powerful. I actually think Chisora a fight or two down the line is an ideal fight for Price.

Posted December 5, 2013 11:18 am

Chin chinery, chin chirnery, chin chin chirooo, Derek Chisora knocks Price out in two.

Posted December 5, 2013 11:17 am

boxing barlow

Price stried to boubce straight back from his fight with Thompson and got stung big time. His trainer and those managing his career got carried away and rushed him up through the ranks without letting him fight a diverse set of fighters. Looking back it was plain to see that spending a few years KOing fighter after fighter in just a few rounds left him vunerable to the first guy who take his punch and draw the fight out a little. However Price is by no way fininshed and I can see why Booth has jumped at the chance to train him. Once his conditioning has improved and his defences have been tightened up a little the guy is gonna be a threat to any heavy weight out there.

Keep busy and fight 3 or so c grade opponents. Dont KO them straight away, experiment and learn a few things in the ring, The face Chisora and then Browne and then someone in the top 10.

Guys, it’s not ducking when you’ve been KTFO twice in a row and your confidence is shot. Price’s career is a recon mission for the next year. Going against a top 10 guy like Chisora would be dumb. And I get mad at fighters ducking dudes expect in cases like this. Price is a shell of himself until further notice. No reason to go on suicide missions.

Running from Lucas Browne. Price has better skills but he knows it only takes one Browne bomb to finish his a$$.

I would never ever call a man who steps into the ring a coward & shall not now. However this is 100% strange. Price is 1 notch away from a Lonsdale belt out-right & seems to be running from EBU champ Derreck Chisora & Commonwealth #1 contender Lucas Browne. The fans are yet again let down!!!…………

Basically by vacating the title Price is acknowledging he’s not ready for Chisora. I wouldn’t call it ducking though because he’s basically gotta salvage his career before stepping up to contenders. Baby steps because if he gets KOed again it’s game over. Focus on the long haul.

Posted December 4, 2013 4:27 pm

WISEST DECISION DAVID PRICE has made for a good while. He is no way near ready for a match with the likes of a FURY or a CHISORA.

He needs to learn his craft I. The lower tier for the next 12 months, which will get him 4 good, learning wins before he dips his big toe into the shark-infested waters and faces even a relative novice in a WILDER.

Price needs to work on his nerves and conditioning and to develop a good, solid powerful jab as both an offensive and defensive weapon. He needs to learn how to fight on the inside or tie a man up and clinch. Most importantly he needs to learn how to defend, because he cannot defend for toffee.

Give him a year of good sparring and being matched with young and hungry fighters who are at the lower tier and not 40 year old after 40 year old….

ADAM BOOTH is the best fit for PRICEY, who is an intelligent, articulate man outside the ring…He needs to use the grey matter between his ears and not try to run before he can walk.

Posted December 4, 2013 12:58 pm

A smart move by Price, no need to be brave and risk it all against Chisora. Just play it safe and build your confidence first
