I’m no hater, but just for making weight at 40 Gomez might have joined some TV diet show or something. The fight night wasn’t about admiring his diet success, but his boxing skills. And to show THAT you need a kind of opponent who can fight a bit and who wants to fight a bit. As I said, low kind of Kirmesboxen at best. Watched on Eurosport for free though, so in a manner of speaking I can’t complain, worth nothing costs nothing. But for the people who actualy bought tickets, I don’t know, I’d request full refund.

The man has not fought in Cruiserweight for 12 years. Just making the weight again at 40 is a victory. Their is no way of pleasing haters like some of you. His fights, I’m sure will get tougher.

In Germany they call such fights “Kirmesboxen” which means “funfair boxing” but frankly speaking I’ve seen WAY better Kirmesboxen than this sorry event… Saying this, nothing against Buharalija and Chipindi, they fought as good as they were able to, but it was simply awful to watch. The only good side of the event was it didn’t last long.
