Boxing is all about the money, controlling by the promoter. Promoter, like Bob Arum should be kick out in boxing cause he really really ruin the sport of boxing. Many people now don’t trust boxing but do not blame them cause that is the way the doing now. Ashame

The Jewish promotor comments are dumb. Arum gets on my nerves sometimes but he is a genius at doing his job which is to make money for his fighter. If I were a boxer I would want top rank in my corner.

zzzzzzzzzzzzz…..who cares? this rivalry was settled by the second match.

I see Pacquiao’s thinking pretty clearly… Most all the fans feel he beat Bradley so why redo it??? A nation of Marquez fanatics feel that JMM beat Pac every time, and will again–but more decisively this time–because in their minds Pac is slowing down because the 3rd fight was the first time JMM landed the better and harder punches… Pacman sees the 3rd fight as an off night where he lacked aggression and focus.. Plus God talked to Manny and told him to put a fork in his Boxing career soon–so he only wants to do 2 more fights–Marquez and Floyd …. God never actually talked to me–but if He did I’d be all ears.

Nahhhhh! It’s all about money.

You’re no boxing fan.

This will still b a good fight, although Id rather c alot more guys fighting each other than this….I think Arum is using Manny and going 2 feed him 2 the wolves when hes washed up which is a shame 4 Pacman and boxing fans. Its clear 2 me who the main reason 4 the Floyd Manny fight not happening is?

I’m not sure what the point of this fight is. And this is really a lose-lose fight for Pacquiao. Because if Pac finally, decisively beats Marquez, who cares? Marquez has a ton of mileage on him and everyone will say Marquez finally showed up/got old. And if it’s a close fight, it won’t make Pacquiao look any better trying to negotiate a fight with Floyd, plus fans will be more convinced Pac isn’t the Pac of a few years ago.

I do agree with Gak. Jewish promotors are part of the problem. Look at this country ran by jewish. Our federal reserve, congress, media, foriegn affairs. You name it. This is why the U.S. is going down the tubes. Bob Arum is a cancer to boxing. He needs to go

What Livitz forgets is that Boxing is a business… The idea is not only to have fun but to make MONEY—first, last, and always. Pac wants to do Pacquiao-Marquez IV because his team believes it’s less risk for more money than Pacquiao-Bradley II. If a young Marquez couldn’t beat Pac on the scorecards, chances are an old Marquez won’t do it either… But there’s a bigger nagging issue. Almost everyone agrees Pacquiao beat Bradley—but a substantial percentage of fans believe Marquez was robbed in his last Pacquiao fight. Pacman is very irritated by this because even Filipino fans taunt him about this. To Pac, it’s less important to rematch Bradley than to get separation between himself and JMM. Pac believes he can produce closure and conclusiveness with a stone-cold KO and he’s going for it. Boxing is always about risk. If Manny is right, he can fight Mayweather in the biggest and richest fight in Fistic History—and retire to his political and business careers without ever looking back …. Not exactly garbage if he can make it happen.

Jewish promoters need to be left out of boxing. They ruin this sport.

How….or don’t you know….

Posted September 22, 2012 1:03 pm

Only Bandwagon fans cling to a Mayweather Pacman fight like Life or death. IF you follow the sport you appreciate it’s dozens to hundreds of great fighters, and their various matchups based on clashes of styles.
Marquez and Manny are top PFP level fighters, and give fight of year candidate quality fights. What’s not fun to watch?
Maybe I accept Part 4 more easily than some because I know that some big names come together with a lot of build up and then guess what? They give a crap fight. Not 1 of the first 3 for these guys turned out boring!! Also I don’t make them my #1 fighter based on country or anything like that so I can just enjoy the fight, not as a Marquez, or Manny fanboy (nor a Mayweather fanboy) but as a fan of boxing.

Wile a lot of people will not watch this fight, a dominant performance by Pac would make his fight with Mayweather a lot more intriguing. So if the fight has to happen, and it will, I hope we have a definitive victory this time around (either way, Marquez is a HOF and deserves a victory over Pac probably more than anyone in the world).

I don’t care who fights who as long as I pay to get entertained. I like to see an exciting fighter like Pacquiao against anybody. It’s not my business to matchup the boxers. It was always thrilling to see an aggressive fighter like Pacquiao against another aggressive opponent. I hope Marquez will fight toe-to-toe this time to see who really is the better fighter.

This a joke! Mayweather or nothing! Arum has messed up boxing! Manny has to leave him! Cotto learned trust me Chavez is learning!

Keep a Filipino accent and broken English in mind as you read these words: “Uhhhhh, mmmmmmmm, eerrrrrrrrrr, you know, it’s up to my, mmmmmmm, promoter Bob Arum, errrrrr, mmmmmmmmm, I have to go make another CD,mmmmmmm, uhhhhhhhhh, thank you.

Let me preface this post by saying that I hate Mayweather and would love to see him get knocked unconscious w/ his back on the canvas, arms up in the air, and legs twitching. However, in my humble, cynical, conspiracy theorist opinion, Pacquaio has been prepping himself for possible random drug testing when/if he ever faces Mayweather. And I believe he’s been doing that by actually getting off of illegal PED’s. Mind you, I have no proof except fight footage. When was the last time Manny looked like a devastating puncher? In his fight vs. Margacheato. Since then he has looked ordinary and not like a #1 P4P fighter. I believe he’s being weened off of PED’s and that’s why his performances in his last 3 fights have been less than scintillating.

Note to ESB: More Marc Livitz!! Love his creative and comedic writing style!!

I love Manny but the bottom line is that he has run out of opponents (not named Mayweather) that can make him the kind of money that he’s used to making. That’s the main reason Marquez is being recycled here. And that’s why IMO Arum himself paid for Bradley to get that BS decision; So Manny would have a viable non-Mayweather option. But I definitely don’t want to see that rematch either. It was boring. No knockdowns + no one in serious trouble/shaky legs + no memorable highlights = BORING.

good and last chance for manny to show the world whose the best fighter!!! :?:
