Leonard I have been in the game and watching the game for over 25 years Ive seen plenty son. You dont give Geale his just. He has more then just the stamina SON he has as I said more and that deserves to be recognised. You dont become 3 time world middle weight champion because of punch out put. Sam Solliman is testimony to that. Geale is an underestimted champion which suites him fine.
Sounds like you know yours mate but give credit where credit is due.

Barker by close UD for me. Geales stamina and workrate are immense, But Barkers faster, hits harder and IMO more skilled. Errrrmmmmmmmmmm ive never heard anyone remark about Geales jab before, and its never impressed me. Geales at his best when hes got his head down mauling in close

read what I actually wrote again Davo…we are not too far apart at all! Except for the bit about Geale having “great” footwork, an “awesome” jab etc. You haven’t seen many great or awesome boxers have you son? indeed you are right about Geales stamina and work rate….but that’s about it apart from his strength of character which as a Geale fan Im surprised you dont mention. By the way I like Geale and respect him but I have to be honest. In terms of top class middleweights Geale is a feather fisted flapper…..the Tazmanian Tapper they should call him. Every single decent opponent has taken him the full 12.

Leonard you are dreaming. Geale has great foot work great accurascey an awsome jab and decent power. Combine that with the work reate and stamina. Barker is going to get beat convincinly.

Barker is probably technically better than Geale in practically every department except perhaps the one that counts….the ability to fight hard for 12 tough rounds!

It is hard to think of one thing Geale does exceptionally well, but he keeps on doing it for 3 minutes a round for 12 rounds and so far that has been enough to get him through.
Unless Darren can find a whole new level of output and not fade in the second half of the fight like he did against Belgecham and Martinez to name just two, he will lose. However he is not a lost cause, he does have certain advantages over Geale…height, reach…a crisper jab, harder sharper punches to name a few. Hard to bet against Geales great engine, tough chin and steely determination though.

By the way I scored the Sturm v Geale fight to Sturm. Geale was very lucky that night. Macklin beat Sturm far more convincingly.
