Gonzo the Dragonborn

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

Sad Chad’s days as Light HW Ring Champion are numbered and clocked — like sand in an hour glass. Sergey “the Krusher Kovalev” will KO him if Adonis the Haitian voodoo doll doesn’t beat him to it. Mark my words, fight fans.

Dawson wanted Ward so he came down to face him. Ward did a great that night. But really at 173.4 Dawson doesn’t look like he could lose another ounce without suffering ill affects.

Supreme Court

.If there is no doubt, then provide the evidences…
“Dawson had to lose weight.”…
Name a single fighter who doesn’t “have to lose weight” for a fight in the current system…
Call me once you find one..

I don’t think, there is any doubt about the fact that Dawson was extremely drained, after having had to lose important weight, against Ward, who would not accept a catch weight, against Dawson. You would have to be delusional, not to understand this, and see it in the fight. Dawson quickly became tired, which will be different against Stevenson, who is no boxer.

Dawson was not closed to “Drained” that’s another excuse he calls out Ward in his division comes to the fight the heavier man the loses and the excuses start… These days Everytime a fighter moves up or down and loses there is gonna be an excuse perhaps it’s best if boxers stay in one division to negate such BS…. Guys say “he didn’t look like himself” who does the first time they get knocked out?? If it’s not your night you gotta live with the results and move on… Who really cares what MK thinks he’s on a LOSING streak that’s KILLING him, Kessler who he named himself after was taken to school by Ward, then he predicted Kessler would beat Froch and KESSLER lost the 2nd fight so he has to watch Ward with wins over all his heroes and WHINE…. It matters not Wards Ring Champion, and #2 P4P in the world while Kessler is pretty much faded from relevance and Dawson is still humiliated because he was made to QUIT like a spineless lame…

I am not all that impressed by Dawson (even taking away his drained ghost like state against Ward), he clearly must be able to handle Stevenson, who has not been at this level before.

The boxer does not always win, we have seen this many times, Dawson (Drained) was knocked out by the feather duster (Ward), so I hope he has got his conditioning right this time.

If he is in his top shape, in his own weight class, there should be no doubt.

and if adonis is a cnut of a man than i wouldnt like him anyway and would have a fierce and insatiable desire to see him get folded.

I really like kovalev at this weight and thats who im following but next its chad. I think he was boiled down and not himself against ward. I’m wondering if this performance will show that thought to be accurate. I’ve never seen adonis fight. dont know much about him

Chad should win because he’s by far the better ring walker & more experienced boxer; it helps that he’s in impeccable shape. Now, he has to be very defensibly responsible because Stevenson is a deadly puncher…Any lapse in concentration could spell doom.

Tomato Can.. Brother Bears rooting for Bad Chad might have something to do with the fact that Stevenson is a complete cnut of a man.

Posted June 7, 2013 7:30 pm

Dawson should be able to beat Stevenson.

Bears it’s puzzling why you’d be rooting for Dawson, other than you wanted him to beat Ward, he’s the boxer in this fight, and Stevenson is the puncher/stalker. I would think you’d prefer Stevenson… Me I’m looking for a good fight, but if Dawson doesn’t keep Stevenson at the end of his jab, he’s going to get knocked out.

I am rooting for chad dawson. Hope he looks good in this one

decent fights to bad the idiots in montreal are making it ppv in canada, it will probable do about 14 on ppv

Shatterd Dreams

Curious to see Sky Sports covering this fight being that they have adopted a trend of late of only showing US shows when a UK based fighter is involved, Boxnation seem to have the internatiol stuff all to themselves. It could be that the winner of Dawson vs Stevenson is next up for Froch on Sky ppv. Whatever the reason it’s good to see some international bouts being shown on Sky.
