First things first, Povetkin had the opportunity to fight WK a couple of years back and walked away from it. Now, all of a sudden it’s WK who is avoiding good fighters? This is a bs article. WK has fought every available HW there is, even if they were stiffs. I’m no WK nut-hugger, but let’s keep things straight. As for the drug testing, it’s not the first fight to fall apart over testing.Posted June 4, 2013 2:11 pm
for Olympia 2016, Klitschko has to go to APB, this means, he will lost his 3 WM belts !Posted June 4, 2013 12:40 pm

BLEACH REPORT : “Where Do the Klitschko Brothers Rank Among All-Time Great Heavyweights?” Much mure better article than this lousy here.Posted June 4, 2013 6:06 am
Popkin should hang on to his belt, stay far east and enjoy his money. Bring the beast out of Bulgaria . . . Wlad-Pulev 2013!Posted June 4, 2013 5:41 am
i’ve noticed, the guys here on ESB with REAL knowledge in boxing ( styles, techniques, … ) are PRO Klitschko !!! So what does that say about Klitschko ?Posted June 4, 2013 5:05 am
@ prince. Povetkin cancelled 2 ! times the fight ! And when you know, that you’re not ready, then you make no deal ! 2 times !
@ harry. exactely ! Those guys who critics Vlad must be really stupid. Vlad was ready to fight Povetkin in Germany, it was NO PROBLEM for him, but in Russia is completely different.Posted June 4, 2013 4:05 am
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND POVETKIN’S ROLE IN RUSSIA. HE IS AN ULTRA PATRIOTIC SUPPORTER OF THE CURRENT POLITICAL LEADERS’ PARTY AND OF COURSE PUTIN AND MEDVEDEV. HE IS A GUARANTEED PARLIAMENT MEMBER JUST LIKE VALUEV WAS. POVETKIN IS A POLITICAL TOOL IN RUSSIA. HE IS A REPRESENTATIVE OF A “TRUE RUSSIAN MAN” SO TO SAY. KNOWING THIS YOU ALL CAN BE SURE A HUNDRED PERCENT, RUSSIAN INTELLIGENCE SERVICE WILL USE ALL DITRY TRICKS TO HELP POVETKIN WIN THIS SUPER IMPORTANT FIGHT IN THE CAPITAL OF CORRUPTION ROTTEN RUSSIAPosted June 4, 2013 3:38 am
it’s always funny when some fools criticize WORLD CHAMPION Vladimir KlichKO – the living legend and the best superheavyweight ever. Yet they found no reason write some criticism about LOCAL AMERICAN CHAMPIONS LIKE PUNCHBAG CLAY AND RAPIST THAISON.Posted June 4, 2013 3:06 am
Yep, forget Povetkin and his team, they’ve found a smart way out of the Wlad fight again (now a 3rd time actually). Being from one of the ex-soviet countries I wouldn’t ever dear to let mafia controlled Russians (who nationally still think the independent states somehow betrayed them and always look for the revenge and showing their political inferiority complex and play their silly foreign-politics games – a World HW title would be the best place to do it vs Ukraine) stick their version of needles into me organized from the opponet’s side. If you know their background and history in trustworthiness you have to be outright idiot to let them do it. Wlad’s team is spot on with their approach IMO.
Pulev-Wlad sounds like the best HW bout that can me made currently. I hope Wlad gives his next title shot to Pulev. It’ll be a mucho better fight since Pulev doesn’t just have boxing fundamentals, but also equal size, a very tactical mind and he’s not lazy like Pov. Pulev won’t be any walk in the park for Wlad to keep him at bay with the jab like he would do with smaller Povetkin. Meaning Pulev not neccessarily win but he will certainly test Wlad and tag him we haven’t seen for a long time, it’s a 30/70 fight and in HW anything can happen with just 1 powerpunch landed.Posted June 4, 2013 2:30 am
The author is a useless American. Screw your ratings in your country. Boxing is global. And try blaming Povetkin equally. This clown blames Wlad and only Wlad. Lousy piece of writing.Posted June 4, 2013 1:44 am
Prince, thing is, Povetkin wasn’t ready when he was facing better comp, so he wont be ready now hes facing leftovers and club fighters. But, at very least, Povetkin is honest enough to not run around saying he would destroy Wlad and such. Wlad last fights were kinda weak, BUT, you can only fight what is put in front of you. The author of this piece is way off the mark anyway.Posted June 4, 2013 12:29 am
Drago, Povetkin didnt fight Wlad cause he was not ready which is fine. If you dont think you are ready why risk a loss and spoil your career with it. The Klits are too often fighing guys who barely have 20 fights.I am not saying that Povetkin will win or is ready, I dont think he is ready but he is surely better than Klitschkos opposition of late. Povetkin should fight the likes of Haye, Chisora, Thompson first to get more experience and then take on Wlad.Posted June 3, 2013 9:36 pm
this fight will happen.Posted June 3, 2013 7:33 pm
Anonymous – your’re damn right ! But Europe doesn’t need HBO and frustrated Americans or Authors.Posted June 3, 2013 5:47 pm
The Russians, much as they fervently cling to Povetkin’s nut-sack, know full well that the doughboy has no chance in this fight – whether Wlad comes in with – or without the juice. My gut feeling tells me that this fight is once again not going to come off and frankly, I could care less anymore.Posted June 3, 2013 5:36 pm

Professor, sorry to dissapoint you, but Germans knows exactly, that Mormeck or Chambers weren’t the best fighters. But what the German also knows is, that there is no worthy opponent out there. Haye was good, but not good enough for Wlad. And please don’t come up with Pulev, Fury or Povetkin.Posted June 3, 2013 4:16 pm
If K2 don’t call the shots, the fight doesn’t happen. No chance risking having little bro crawling round or even worse, being carried around the ring now big bro is too creaky and rusty to avenge the defeat. Would tarnish that ‘GOAT’ legacy. They’ve made enough money from

Fight Pulev simple. Everyone wants to see that fightPosted June 3, 2013 12:50 pm
namless, as usual you have no idea what you’re talking about… it’s all not that easy. And your Haye had his chance, his fight, but he lost.Posted June 3, 2013 12:50 pm
Agree, I’d rather see Wlad vs Pulev, than this shady Povetkin fight.Posted June 3, 2013 12:45 pm
wlad should be stripped if he backs out of this. The man is a control freak and his manager is just being a jerk rejecting reasonable compromise. Basically unless its home testing and a ref that wont call the grabbing then wlad wants to back out to face another bum. Now people know what haye went through to get his fight made and wlads control freak wimpish nature is being exposed.Posted June 3, 2013 12:40 pm
They both are acting like a couple of hayes.Posted June 3, 2013 12:34 pm
Criticers just put yourself into Wlads position and then tell me : What would YOU do ?! Would you jsut take it easy and let the Russians take away all your belts by using dirty tricks ? Belts, you worked very hard for ? Really ?Posted June 3, 2013 11:13 am
lolPosted June 3, 2013 10:36 am
“comes along?” Were you under a rock for the past 2 years? Povetkin would shot himself in the hand to avoid Wlad.Posted June 3, 2013 10:33 am
Klitschko is getting on my nerves, he keeps fighting bum after bum, and then someones half-decent comes along and he mocks about drug testing.Posted June 3, 2013 10:28 am

Oh the drama…Posted June 3, 2013 10:26 am
If that’s the case wlad should fight Huck. Huck is just as much a serious threat than doughboy.Posted June 3, 2013 10:00 am

23 million! Triple the amount this fight is worth and you think everything is gonna be on the up and up. Use your brain people.Posted June 3, 2013 9:53 am
Just imagine its the day of the fight or 2 hours before the fight and the Russian agency shows up to wlads locker room asking for blood. Now that wouldn’t be so much of a problem of what they are taking out as much as what they could be putting in. If you were wk would you trust them sticking a needle in your arm with all that has happened.Posted June 3, 2013 9:51 am
this is ridiculous.
Wladimir is the champ. He makes the calls.
It is stupid for Wlad to fight in Russia.
He should tell Povo: we fight in Germany, my testing agency, my belts on the line.
I have never heard of a challenger making demands of the champ. This bs is like Holyfield demanding Tyson fight him in Atlanta, Ga.
Or Tony Thompson demanding Wlad fight in America.
Makes no damn sense.
What is the purpose of being champ if the challenger has control over negotiations?Posted June 3, 2013 9:25 am
HEY! THIS HRYUNOV BTCH, POVETKINS MANAGER, DIDN’T DEMAND THIS DOPING TESTINGS FOR THE BUM RAHMAN AND THAT LAST BUM FROM POLAND THAT SASHA BEAT UP. EVERYTHING THAT HRYUNOV BTCH DOES IS A SHADY PLAY. ALLOW THIS FAT HO TO DICTATE YOU THE TERMS AND YOUR FKD UP. ESPECIALLY IN CORRUPT ROTTEN RUSSIA.Posted June 3, 2013 8:11 am
And jab, WHY did he brings the division down ? Because he holds all the belts ? Because he is just too good and no one can beat him since years, not even your Haye ? Well then SORRY !Posted June 3, 2013 8:09 am
Pulev might be a decent opponent. But Fury…..COME ON!
Steve Cunningham nearly knocked him out, and Cunningham wasn’t known for his KO power. When Wlad hits Fury — WHEN not IF, Fury will be down for the count. Easy, easy, easy fight for Wlad. Anyone who says different is kidding themselves.Posted June 3, 2013 7:57 am
jab your a stupid brittard, you don’t know sht about boxing. fkn KlichKO hater, ex-davey ga y lover.Posted June 3, 2013 7:57 am
“fighter”Posted June 3, 2013 7:45 am
JAB. If you don’t know what you talking about, then you better shut up. Vlad don’t need an excuse, he was ready to fight Povetkin in 2008 and 2010 in Germany but Povetkin cancelled both fights. Vlad knows he’s way better than Povetkin and he don’t fear the FIGHTER Povetkin, it’s the POLITICAL PROJECT OF RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT “Sasha Povetkin”, he has to be worried about. If you know, what it means for an ukrainian figher.Posted June 3, 2013 7:44 am
German state institutions are not corrupt and work independently. Different thing in Russia, where money buys influence, but doesn’t build Autobahns. Povetkin’s promoter is clever – he can bribe someone in Russia for the benefit of Povetkin, or he can say Wlad is scared by not agreeing to testing in Russia. It is the other way around, though. Testing in Germany is outside of the influence of both camps, and Wlad is definitely not scared by someone who nearly got KO’ed by a cruiserweight, Marco Huck.Posted June 3, 2013 7:23 am
Theres a strange twist. Its povetkin that wants it all his way yet wlad gets the blame. This would be a brutal beating of Povetkin and a payday yet he wants it all his way. Hes another built up contender that will lose and been ducking the champ. The king gets his way or this should be called off. Povetkin isn’t the great fighter everyone makes him out to be and neither is the oipponets hes beaten. Stop this BS.Posted June 3, 2013 7:21 am
This is just an excuse for klit to pull out of a tough fight thats all. All this other crap beinv posted is rubbish. All he does is fight rubbish and brings the division down with him. Strip the guy ic he doesnt fight, sick of him. Bet you he fights someone about 50 or someone who is underfeated in 6 fightsPosted June 3, 2013 6:50 am
Povetkin has been pulling out of this fight before. He and his camp just know that Povetkin will be knocked out or at least lose clearly. It is just excuses, excuses, excuses to avoid WladimirPosted June 3, 2013 6:16 am
Strip Wladimir of his titles? Are you crazy? He is the KING who has the last say on this aspect. His demands or not off-track, If the choice is between a German or Russian anti-doping institution then I would know. Also given the fact that Wladimir is Ukranian fighting in Russia….Posted June 3, 2013 6:14 am
You should take a look at this article here on eastsideboxing. “Is Povetkin getting cold feet after agreeing to bout with Oquendo.”Posted June 3, 2013 5:51 am
Are they fucn serious? Povetkin a threat? Somebody has been seriously sipping the hooch around here!Posted June 3, 2013 4:33 am
Well two things first the WBA should have the drug testing done by a nutrual organisation and if anyone is not happy, have them stripped of there title. Perhaps for all title fights the alphabet or local boddies should have there own testing done. If wlad pulls out he must fight pulev or its a complete jokePosted June 3, 2013 3:43 am
Hasn’t Povetkin already said that he’s willing to be tested by both agencies? Can’t Wlad just say the same in order for that contractual issue to be resolved?Posted June 3, 2013 3:42 am
So basically one of the most juiced brothers in sports is concerned to get cheated over roids.Posted June 3, 2013 3:21 am
pulev-wlad 2013! let it be!Posted June 3, 2013 3:07 am
There is no one who’s is good enough for Klitschko ! Not Fury, not Pulev and not Povetkin. It’s that simple . But this fight would be a big deal in the whole Europe, not only in Russia and Germany, hello ?!Posted June 3, 2013 2:57 am
Well the Klitschko Team fears corruption, a manipulation of the test and they are right. Vlad’s image is much more worth than this 17 millions, so why risk it ?! And this fight is not only a sport fight, it’s about politics, Russia – Ukraine. The RUSADA can’t be trust, but NADA has the best reputation in the whole world ! So why can’t Povetkin not be tested by NADA like Vlad ?
