Prof Konje

This guy is so full of himself that it’s pitiful. He utilizes fruity, flowery language to hide what he really is. Has anyone read where the WBC is causing Canelo problems because he now has two belts? The WBA and the WBC belts. According to the article, he cannot hold both even though other fighter have and nothing was said or done.

How nutty is it that Jose Sulaiman is pontificating about the state of boxing.

I FELL IN LOVE with boxing as a very young boy in 1981 and in those days the WBC stood out as a beacon in boxing and boxers were so proud to fight for, win and defend the WBC title.

Fast-forward 30 odd years and the WBC is mentioned with contempt by most diehard boxing fans.

Is this he legacy you wish to leave our beloved sport, cheapening the value of the title chasing the next peso for sanctioning fees?

It makes us very sad to see our beloved sport viewed on from without as one of dubious distinction, wih one whiff of scandal following another.

it is not too late to right the wrongs that have so badly damaged our sport that the likes of the AIBA etc and other would- be sanctioning bodies are flocking in to get heir share f he lucrative spoils!
