give the people their money back , most boring fight of the yearPosted April 14, 2013 6:07 pm
this would never have sold out the big room at MSG. this venue was just fine for this fight.Posted April 14, 2013 3:33 am
Largo, stfu or I’ll get that gerbil after you.Posted April 13, 2013 8:28 pm
Most boxing fans know Rigo is a overhyped amateur an this is nothing but a normal Donaire fight, avoiding the top fighters like Abner an Anselmo Moreno, they barely sold 6000 seats lol, if that being in New York I’m sure they gave half the seats away.Posted April 13, 2013 7:40 pm
Poor Rigo is taking a snooze soon!Posted April 13, 2013 6:30 pm
There’s a very good reason this venue saw only 1 boxing match in 100 years — and NO boxing matches in the 20th Century… The configuration of the arena and the fact that it holds so few fans makes it extremely unattractive… Just why it was selected to present a match the magnitude of Donaire-Rigondeaux is a mystery to me. You can’t draw 20,000 live fans for this fight? You need more than 6,000 seats to stage a lot of amateur fights. Can you imagine the Lakers, Heat, Vikings, 49ers, Dodgers, or Yankees playing before 6,000 fans?Posted April 13, 2013 6:26 pm
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Nonito KO Rigo, everyone knows he has KO power.Posted April 13, 2013 5:37 pm
I’m not a nonito fan and I’m not a rigo fan, I am a boxing fan. With that said, I’m going to go on record and say that nonito will win either by A surprise Ko out of the blue or unanimous decision. Why? As much as I respect and admire Rigo’s abilities, he’s too much of a “thinker” for a guy like nonito, that’s just his style, he takes a methodical approach. This won’t work against nonito, he’s not going to give rigo time to think. He’s going to smell blood right from the start and bring the fight to Rigo’s suspect chin in such an overwhelming way that rigo is going to get KOd in an exchange or get punch shy thus handing over all of the ring generalship to nonito. Rigo is good, but he’s not going to beat nonito. Hopefully I’m wrong and we’ll have one of the more entertaining matchups of the year.Posted April 13, 2013 2:12 pm
In the kingdom of the blind the one with one eye is the king !! Such is the nature of Rigo’s perceived dominance over the type of opposition he had. He will now be facing an opponent with 20/20 vision in both eyes with speed, power in both hands and one of the most intuitive fighter in modern times. Rigo is good but not good enough – The Filipino Flash by KO or UD depending in how the cuban prefers to fight.Posted April 13, 2013 11:59 am
Donaire all the wayPosted April 13, 2013 11:34 am
I MEANT LETS KEEP THE PREDICTIONS COMING!!Posted April 13, 2013 7:42 am
I LOVE THESE MOMENTS BEFORE THE STORM!!
LETS THE PREDICTIONS COMING!!!!!!Posted April 13, 2013 6:57 am
I cant beleive that I actually cant sleep due to the anticipation of this fight, been waiting so long for this one!!
I beleive ring skills will win this fight and Rigo is the most skilled bantamweight I have ever seen in my life!!!
RIGONDEAUX ALL THE WAY!!!Posted April 13, 2013 6:55 am
Rigondeaux will do to Donaire what no one has done. He will neutralize his power and out box and use beautiful movement and defense to make Donaire look one dimensional. Don’t be surprised when Rigondeaux drops Donaire along the way.Posted April 13, 2013 1:33 am
After seeing Donaire keep telling him to look him in the eye makes me think Donaire thinks to much of himself to start trash talking or trying to intimidate him but then on the other hand is Rigo a little nervous not wanting to look at Donaire in his eyes. Not sure how he normally is in the standoffPosted April 13, 2013 1:09 am
I gotta say, I’m a little, on the fence for this fight. My fight experience tells me that Donaire will break down Rigondeaux, or even catch with something early to win end the fight. My technical admiration tells me that Rigondeaux will out smart, and keep Donaire from setting his feet, and then go on to land impressive counters. I think I’ll enjoy this one, and watch the better man win… But, right now I’m leaning towards the favorite, Donaire.Posted April 13, 2013 12:43 am
The Filipino Flash KO in rd 7! So pumped for this fight!Posted April 12, 2013 10:15 pm
El Chacal all the way, baby!!!Posted April 12, 2013 9:51 pm
If you put the TNT explosive power of Nonito together with Rigo’s suspect chin, there’s only one possible outcome for this fight…Posted April 12, 2013 8:39 pm
The Low Blow !
LOOK IN tO mY EYES ! Donaire deserves to be the favorite going in to this bout though my GUT tells me Rigondeaux will smoke Nonito in 3 could end up much like Hagler Hearns didPosted April 12, 2013 7:55 pm
