"He's going to be standing in front of me trying to take everything I've worked my whole life for and as far as I'm concerned, it will be my pleasure to hand him a beating in front of his crowd." Katsidis told his local paper, the Toowoomba Chronicle.
"I'll be bringing the world title back to Toowoomba and I don't care how much noise the crowd wants to make, they won't be able to stop that from happening."
Trainer Brendon Smith added: "Make no mistake, we know we're in for a war."
"We're going into his backyard and we know Michael isn't going to win on points."
"If he wants to win, he's going to have to knock him out and that's not going to be easy, because he's a good fighter. This is the fight of Michael's life."
Katsidis is unbeaten in 21 fights, and has an devastating 19 knockouts to his name.
WBU World Champion Earl has a 25-1 record, and is a former British and Commonwealth lightweight title holder.
As well as Earl-Katsidis, the action-packed card includes Audley Harrison's challenge for the EU Heavyweight title against Michael Sprott as well as Amir Khan's 11th 11th professional fight to be broadcast live on ITV1
