By Per Ake Persson: November 24, Copenhagen, Denmark: WBA I/C jr middle champ Reda Zam Zam had no problems against Brazilian southpaw Mike Miranda. Zam Zam controlled the fight from the beginning and had Miranda under pressure. In the third the Dane hurt his opponent with left hooks to the body and followed up with a right-left hook combination to the head and the Brazilian went down. The African Warrior, Evans Ashira, returned to action in Denmark with a unanimous points win after eight against Belgian veteran Mike Algoet. Algoet, a southpaw, spoiled his way through the contest.
