Krasniqi Injured, Sturm Headlines In Berlin On Dec.2

01.11.06 - By Per Ake Persson: Universum have been forced to make some changes to the their shows November 18 in Duesseldorf and December 2 in Berlin after heavyweight Luan Krasniqi suffered a serious knee injury while doing roadwork. He was to have headlined the show in Berlin. Taking his place there is now middleweight Felix Sturm, who takes on Australian Galvin Topp in a fight that was originally scheduled for November 18..

Stepping in for Sturm vs Topp is heavyweight Alexander Dimitrenko, who needed only 54 seconds to get rid of Omar Basile in Stuttgart this past weekend. Headlining in Duessedorf are heavies John Ruiz and Ruslan Chagaev, who square off in a WBA eliminator.

German jr middle Marco Schulze take on Tanzanian Ramadhan Miyeyusho for the vacant IBF I/C title November 11 in Oranienburg.

Danish lightweight Martin Kristjansen steps in for ill stable mate Spend Abazi and fight Scotsman Stuart Green November 3 on the Mock vs Mezaache bill in Skive.

Norwegian jr middle Nikita Dubunin is in against Frenchman Franck Harroche Horta on the Dettweiler vs Sprott show November 4 in Muhlheim an der Ruhr. Jr light Andreas Evensen face Belgian Younes Amrani.
