Kevin Mitchell Heads To York Hall

13.09.06 - Unbeaten super-featherweight star Kevin Mitchell returns to action on Saturday 28th October at the York Hall when he defends his IBF Intercontinental Super-Featherweight title. The 23-year-old took his record to 21-0 last Saturday at the Grosvenor House Hotel last Friday night on the big DebRA charity show stopping the previously undefeated Andrey Isaev in the eleventh round..

Luton's Graham Earl headlines the show when he challenges for the Vacant WBU World Lightweight Championship.

Mitchell said, "It's great to be back in the ring again so soon after my last fight. I just want to keep active and fight as much as I can and keep improving with each fight."

"Isaev was a tough kid but I broke him down and got to him in the end to take his unbeaten record,"

"I'm looking forward to returning to the East End on October 28 and getting a good crowd at the York Hall."

The bill will also feature English Welterweight Champion Ross Minter in an eight round contest.

Portsmouth's former WBU World Light-Heavyweight Champion Tony Oakey, Dagenham lightweight Dean Smith, West Ham heavyweight Paul Souter, Wanstead welterweight Grant Skehill and the professional debut of Crawley featherweight Robin Deakin complete the show.
