Timothy Ray Bradley Jr Ready For Friday

20.06.06 - Orange, CA – “Desert Storm” Timothy Ray Bradley Jr. will lead off an explosive night of boxing live from the Doubletree Hotel, Ontario, this coming Friday, June 23. Bradley (13-0, 7 KOs) will now face rugged Arturo Urena, from Mazatlan, Mexico. Pavel Miranda, Bradley’s original opponent was not able to complete his visa process to have his first ever-American fight..

Urena (23-12-1, 19 KOs) is a powerful puncher that has mixed it up with top world champion contenders like Hector Camacho Jr., Cesar Bazan, Oscar Diaz and Henry Bruseles, to name a few.

“Urena is a dangerous customer, he is a veteran fighter with a heavy punch and I will not take him lightly,” said Bradley of his new opponent. “I am open for business and to all comers; just take a number,” concluded the Palm Springs youngster who trains out of the Coachella Boys and Girls Club under the tutelage of Joel Diaz and his father Timothy Sr.

The rest of the card is composed of some of the most outstanding prospects of Southern California. James Parison (5-0, 2 KOs) will face Jesus Abel Hernandez (2-6-1, 1 KO) in a middleweight six-round bout. Ivan “Sitting Bull” Stovall (4-1, 2 KOs) will fight Ramon “Killer” Espinoza (8-5, 3 KOs) in yet another middleweight six-round barnburner. Also on the card, Adrian Tait (2-0, 1 KO), a beloved Quartzhill, CA fighter, will face rough Lester Belmores (2-3, 1 KO) in the jr. welterweight category. Irving Garcia (1-0, 1 KO) will face David Garcia who will be making his pro debut, and finally Sytel Wilbarn (1-0) will face Mario Franco (0-4) in a featherweight scrap.
