David Torres remaind undefeated!

Tacoma, WA – After a sold-out 44th installment of Battle at the Boat, David “El Torito” Torres moved to 14-0-0 with a victory against steely competitor, Roberto Ventura (now 12-4-0). Torres was shaken during the first round, as he came to realize just how talented his competition was. Torres barraged Ventura with a series of well-landed shots, sending Ventura to the canvas twice in the second round, the final blow, added one more knockout to Torres’ record..

The fight was broadcast on Azteca America, and Torres’ fans came by the busload to show their support for their hometown hero. "This was another big fight in David's career," said Torres' promoter Brian Halquist. " David keeps coming through fight after fight, showing his heart and his improved boxing skills at every turn. David's fan base is growing leaps and bounds, and our standing room only crowd saw it too. We hope to have David fight for a title very soon."

David Torres fights as a Junior Welterweight, and is currently ranked 13th by the NABA, he will fight at Battle at the Boat 45 on April 8th in Tacoma, Washington.
