Khan KOs Martynov, Muttley upsets Jennings

29.01.06 - Michael Jennings suffered the first defeat of his professional career as Young Muttley claimed the British welterweight title with a split decision victory. Muttley edged a tight verdict 116-113 on two of the judges cards, while judge Howard Foster favoured Jennings 115-113. 18-year-old Olympic silver medallist Amir Khan took just 75 seconds of the first round to knock out Belarussian Vitali Martynov on the undercard.
