JABB Boxing Gym Feat. In Ring Magazine

21.09.05 - JABB Boxing Gym, Chicagoland's biggest and best boxing gym is featured in the December 2005 issue of Ring Magazine. JABB Boxing Gym was opened in December 2003 by Dominic Pesoli and Tina Park of 8 Count Productions, Home of the Best in Chicago Boxing, along with Mike Garcia, former world ranked and undefeated featherweight..

JABB Boxing Gym is the December 2005 monthly feature for Ring Magazine's "Being There" story on terrific boxing gyms around the globe. The two page article on pages 20-21 is filled with outstanding pictures by award winning photographer John Booz as well as great writing by Chicago based writer Juan Ayllon.

Said Pesoli of the article, "It's a great honor to be featured in Ring Magazine. Tina, Michael and I have worked very hard with our dedicated staff of trainers to make this the best boxing gym in the city for all levels of talent, from men and women just starting out to world champions of the sport. Recently former junior middleweight champion Fernando Vargas based his training camp JABB prior to his win over Javier Castillejo in Chicago. Other big names who have recently visited JABB include five time world champion Johnny Tapia, heavyweight title challenger Monte Barrett, world ranked welterweight Ricky Quiles and heavyweight prospect B. J. Flores.

Chicago based fighters who call the six thousand square foot JABB Boxing Gym their home gym include world ranked heavyweight Fres Oquendo, world ranked welterweight David Diaz, junior middleweight contender Freddie Cuevas, junior middleweight Angel Hernandez, Luciano Perez, Francisco Rodriguez and female prospect Rita Figueroa along with many others. UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski is also a permanent fixture at JABB training with Mike Garcia and well as NBA star Kendall Gill.
