Gonzalez, Erdei, Halmich and Alvarez inside their weight limit

15.01.04 – At the official weigh-in prior to tomorrow’s world championship double header at dm-arena of Karlsruhe, Germany, all four main event fighters beat the scales. Mexican Julio Cesar Gonzalez, the WBO light heavyweight world champion, weighed in at 172,6 lb. His Hungarian challenger Zsolt Erdei weighed 172 lb.

For the second main event, a WIBF flyweight woman world championship, Regina Halmich weighed in at 110,6 lb. Her challenger Johanna Pena-Alvarez from the Dominican Republic weighed the class limit of 112 lb.

The main events will be broadcasted in Germany on ZDF beginning at 22:00 German time.
