06.07.05 - Per-Åke Persson: German jr middle Marco Schulze will now defend the IBF Int´l title against Hungarian Laszlo Buranyi on Saturday (July 9) in Magdeburg. Schulze was originally set take on Austrian Gotthard Hinteregger for the IBF I/C crown but Hinteregger has pulled out due to illness. Spotlight Boxing bring in the likes of heavyweight Alexey Mazikin and welter Marco Cattikas on the undercard.. The show, promoted by SES, is headlined by supermiddle Robert Stieglitz defending the IBF I/C title against Francis Cheka.

WBF supermiddle champ Stepjan Bozic is likely to defend the title in the fall against tough South African Ruben Groenewald.

Fight Production have announced that Dutch heavy Richel Hersisia no longer will be trained by ex-EBU jr middle champ Mourad Louati. However, Louati, claims to be not just the trainer of Hersisia but also co-manager and says he will sue Olaf Schroeder, who heads Fight Production. Hersisia is likely to continue his career in Spain with Tundra vs Barcelo as promoter.
