30.06.05 - Boxing sensation Amir Khan will show that his big-hitting skills are not just inside the ring! Khan will display his batting skills as he warm up with Lancashire tomorrow night (Friday 1 July) for their big clash against rivals Yorkshire at Old Trafford in the Twenty20 Cup..

The Olympic Silver Medallist has just returned from a training camp in Cuba where he joined former adversery turned friend Mario Kindelan - the man who beat the Bolton wonderboy in Athens but lost in the rematch in May - to prepare for his professional debut at the Bolton Arena on Saturday 16 July.

Cricket mad Khan, who's cousin is England 'A' and Lancashire star fast bowler Sajid Mahmood, said, "I'm delighted to attend this match which is set to be an explosive clash and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some big-hitting before my professional debut. Whoever my opponent is on July 16 he will be hit for six!"
