Arthur-Sinitsin Tickets On Sale

14.06.05 - Tickets are now on sale for Alex Arthur's historic European Super-Featherweight title challenge against Russian champion Boris Sinitsin on Saturday 9 July at Edinburgh's Meadowbank Stadium. Arthur aims to capture the European crown to add to his British and Commonwealth belts and, if succesfull, will become the first Scot since the legendary World Flyweight Champion Jackie Patterson in 1946 to hold all three titles simultaneously..

To add further to this history-making event, this will be the first European title fight stage in the Scottish capital for 77 years and a victory for Arthur will etch his name in the history books as the first ever Scot to win the European title in the super-featherweight division.

Standing in Arthur's way is Sinitsin who represents the biggest and most dangerous challenge in the youngster's 21-fight career.

The Moscow hardman, a pro for over 13 years, has a 54-fight record with 46 wins and 24 KO's and is the two-time European champion currently ranked #8 by the WBC.

Sinitsin has already ended another Scotsman's dreams of winning the European title - Craig Docherty - last October when he beat the Glasgow man on points.

Arthur gave Sinitsin something to think about when he outgunned Docherty to stop him in the seventh round of their grudge fight in April this year.

It's set to be a fantastic occasion so make sure you are there to witness history in the making!

Tickets for 'FROM RUSSIA WITH GLOVES', priced at 30, 50, 75, are available from Ticket Master on 08700 060 1795 or Meadowbank Stadium on 0131 661 5351 or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.frankwarren.tv
