David Price Hopes England KOs France

The UK's No.1 heavyweight, David Price, is hoping the England football team can follow his lead and produce a knockout performance against the French when the two sides meet in the Euro 2012 tournament today..
Price, who secured the British and Commonwealth titles with a fourth round KO over Sam Sexton at the Aintree Equestrian Centre last month, is also a huge Liverpool FC fan and is looking forward to watching his friends from the Anfield Stadium compete in the competition over the coming weeks.

"France seem the team in form, they've won a few on the bounce but England have got a new manager and there's less pressure on them which I think will help. I think England might defend for an hour or so and hope to catch France on the break. I can maybe see it beng 0-0, but really hope England can pull it off.

"We've got some of the Liverpool lads in the team and squad, like Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson, who are both great players and I wish them all the luck in the world and hope they have a great tournament. With England you never know, and anything can happen in football, so hopefully the team will do well."

The England vs. France fixture isn't the only thing Price is excited about at the moment. The unbeaten boxer and his team are scheduled to announce news of his next fight soon, and the big Liverpudlian just can't wait to reveal all.

"It's really exciting. There's a couple of options out there who are big names and who will be great for my development as a fighter. The team are just working on getting it sorted, there should be an announcement soon, and some big news for the fans."
