Soliman: "Stop the bulls... Bernard"

30.03.05 - Message loud & clear from Sam Soliman: "Cant come to terms with Jermain? I’ll simplify it for you – fight me, your mandatory IBF challenger “winner takes all”. How much simpler can we make it ? Or maybe you are too scared you’ll wind up with nothing. Pay us $600,000 and we’ll donate $100,000 of that to a children’s charity of your choice. That’s 1.2 million less than Jermain – and you get to make some disadvantaged children happy..

After having called you out for two years to be a non mandatory challenger & offered to fight you for virtually next to nothing in the past, and now your shirking your IBF mandatory obligations in an effort to avoid me ? Seems to me your living upto your self confessed rabbit running again. Why avoid me when I am your mandatory challenger? People will wake upto you soon Bernard – you’re shitting yourself cause you know I am the one to dethrone you.

Explain now why you won’t honour you mandatory obligation and climb into the ring with me. It can’t be the money cause were saving you over 50% - we don’t care where or when. The promoter should be happy as he has a massive saving of 1.2 million and the boxing public will be happy as you are honouring your obligation to fight the next in line who has earned his shot. There can be only one reason you wont climb into the ring with me and that is you don’t have the balls and you know I will make you grow old overnight.

We’ve even given you more reason to do it by offering to donate $100,000 to a children’s charity of your choice. Show that you do have at least a little heart left in that old body of yours and climb into the ring with me."
