Klitschko vs. Mormeck: Wladimir can win this fight without even using his right hand

By Michael Collins: A fight is considered a terrible mismatch when one fighter doesnít even have to use their right hand to win it. They can literally jab their way to a victory without even once using their right hand. The March 3rd fight between IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KOís) and 39-year-old Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KOís) is a pretty good case for that. Wladimir, 6í6Ē, has arguably the best jab in the heavyweight division and a powerful left hook that does with it.

Wladimir doesnít even need to use his right hand to win his fights, especially this one against the badly overmatched 5í10Ē Mormeck. Wladimir will be fighting Mormeck at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, and there is probably going to be few Mormeck fans in the arena on that night to try encourage him to raise his game enough for him to win.

Mormeck will have a few fans traveling over from France but itíll be mostly Wladimir fans and itís going to be tough for Mormeck. Heís not really heavyweight material and would have been better off if he had stuck it out at cruiserweight instead of getting a wild idea that it would be smart for him to move up in weight.

If Mormeck had a lot of talent then I could understand it but he really took a big gamble by walking away from the cruiserweight division when he could have been a champion for the past four years instead of fumbling around at heavyweight and winning controversial decisions over and over again against 2nd tier heavyweights at home in Paris, France. Mormeck is just lucky that Wladimir picked him out from the #9 by the IBF and WBO to give him a shot over higher ranking and more deserving heavyweight contenders. Mormeck could have been languishing for another two years or so before he could get a title shot if he hadnít been handpicked by Wladimir.
