COACHELLA VALLEY AND LOS ANGELES-AREA RISING STARS READY TO SHINE AT FANTASY SPRINGS CASINO THIS FRIDAY; Mora defeats Flores

LOS ANGELES, November 3 - Coachella Valley and Los Angeles-area rising stars are ready to shine on Friday night at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., as Golden Boy Promotions is pleased to announce the entire lineup for the card featuring the middleweight showdown between former World Champion Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora and longtime contender Shibata Flores

The TeleFutura "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" broadcast will also feature unbeaten Oxnard junior middleweight Hugo Centeno in a six round fight against Hector Orozco.

The action doesn't stop there, as a six-round lightweight match up will see Coachella's Jose Vargas (6-1-2) battle Pacoima's Oscar Chinchilla (2-1-1), East Los Angeles' Andres Reyes (3-1-2) takes on unbeaten San Diegan Emmanuel Robles (3-0, 1 KO) in a four round junior welterweight fight, promising middleweight Ray Rivera (1-0, 1 KO) faces Cleven Ishe (3-2, 1 KO) in a four round battle of Los Angeles natives and Alex Vlas (0-1) of Laguna Hills faces Nicholas Balestra (0-1) of Sacramento in a four round junior middleweight bout.

Fans in attendance will have a chance to meet heavyweight legend Evander Holyfield as he hosts a special meet-and-greet from 7:30pm - 8:30pm PT inside the arena.

Mora vs. Flores, a 10 round middleweight bout, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and is sponsored by Cerveza Tecate and AT&T. Doors open at 6:00pm PT on fight night and the first bell rings at 7:30pm PT. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 12:30am ET/PT (11:30pm CT).

Fans at home can also be part of the action by participating in Cinturón Tecate and voting for the fighter in the main event who displayed the most character in the ring by sending a text message to 55333. Voting will be open through the end of the weekend.

One of the most decorated amateurs to emerge from California in recent years, 20-year-old Hugo "The Boss" Centeno (9-0, 6 KO's) collected 90 wins and earned championships in the National Silver Gloves, the National PAL tournament and in the Junior Olympics before turning professional in 2009. After blasting through his first six foes in less than a round each, Centeno has shown off his boxing skills in decisioning his next three opponents, but he plans on getting back to his knockout ways when he meets Hopkins, Minnesota's Hector Orozco (4-8) on Friday.

Indio, Calif. (November 4, 2011) - On Friday night at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, California fight fans were treated to another memorable night of boxing. The six-fight card was presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate and AT&T. Next Friday night, fight fans will see a special edition of "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" Classics as the broadcast will take a look back at some memorable fights of Guadalajara's undefeated WBC Super Welterweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez. The special broadcast will feature two of Canelo Alvarez's classic fights in anticipation of his November 26 world title defense against former World Champion Kermit "The Killer" Cintron on HBO's Boxing After Dark. The show will re-air the battle between Canelo Alvarez and Jose Cotto (Alvarez TKO9) from May 1, 2010 as well as Alvarez vs. Baldomir (Alvarez KO6) which took place on September 18, 2010. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 12:30am ET/PT (11:30pm CT).

WBO ANNOUNCES REFEREE AND JUDGES FOR SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, PACQUIAO-MARQUEZ AND BRADLEY-CASAMAYOR TITLE BOUTS IN LAS VEGAS

World Boxing Organization (WBO), by president Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, announced today the referees and judges who will work on the two world title bouts, Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy Bradley vs Joel Casamayor this Saturday, November 12, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada in a Top Rank Inc. presentation.

Valcarcel reported that the referee for the WBO Welterweight Championship between the champion Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs) and the WBO Lighweight titlist Marquez (53-5-1, 39 KOs), the referee will be Tony Weekes, from United States. This is the third WBO 147lbs title defense for Pacquiao.

The judges for the Pacquiao-Marquez fight will be Dave Moretti, Robert Hoyle and Glenn Trowbridge, all from Nevada. WBO Supervisor for this fight will be the presidente, Valcarcel.

Meanwhile, for the WBO Junior Welter between Bradley (27-0, 11 KOs), who is going to defend his title for the fourth time against former two time champion Casamayor (38-5-1, 22 KOs), the referee will be Vic Drakulich.

The judges for the Bradley-Casamayor fight will be Levi Martinez, from New Mexico, and Adelaide Byrd and Burt Clemented, both from Nevada. WBO Supervisor for this bout will be the Chairman of the Ratings Committee, Luis Perez.
