Wladimir Klitschko-Jean Marc Mormeck “Close” For Dec. 10th In Dusseldorf
By James Slater - Ring Magazine, IBF, WBO and WBA heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko will fight again on December 10th, in Dusseldorf, Germany it has been reported on Ringtv.com, and the probable challenger will be former cruiserweight ruler Jaen Marc Mormeck of France.

This possibility came to light a few days ago, and now Shelly Finkel, Klitschko’s advisor, says the match-up is “probable, but not done yet..”
Finkel, no doubt realising the distinctly lukewarm reception this fight will get from the fans if it does go ahead, added how “we’re running out of opponents.”
Indeed. The best thing Finkel could say about the 39-year-old “Marksman,” as Mormeck is known, is that he is “very big in Europe.”
Big enough to help attract an audience large enough to fill the ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf? Mormeck, 36-4(22) overall and 3-0(0) as a heavyweight, would certainly bring over a number of French fans, and we know the Klitschko brothers fill out arenas whoever they fight, so hugely popular are they in their adopted homeland. It looks then, as though “Dr. Steel Hammer” is in line for a relatively easy payday. But, as Finkel laments, there really in no-one else for the 35-year-old giant to fight.
At least Klitschko is keeping himself busy!
As for Vitali, he too is currently lining up his next fight, and with former Wladimir victim David Haye having recently called out the WBC king, there is speculation this fight could happen in the coming months. Fans may moan and groan about the very idea of Haye getting a second straight title shot whilst coming off a loss, but in comparison to Wladimir Vs. Mormeck, Vitali Vs. Haye will be seen as an explosive match-up.
I know which fight I’d rather pay to watch!
