Weigh-in: Lopez vs. Salido, Berto vs. Ortiz

The four fighters who will compete in an eagerly awaited SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING doubleheader tomorrow/Saturday, April 16, live on on SHOWTIME® (10:30 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast), made weight on Friday.

Undefeated WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel "Juanma'' Lopez (30-0, 27 KOs) will defend against former IBF 126-pound boss Orlando Salido (34-11-2, 22 KOs) in the main event.

In the co-feature, unbeaten Luis Cruz (17-0, 14 KOs) meets world-ranked Martin “El Brochas’’ Honorio (29-5-1, 15 KOs) in a 10-round junior lightweight bout.

Weights: Juanma weighed 125 pounds, one under the division limit; Salido weighed 126. Cruz tipped scale at 129 3/4 pounds; Honorio 131.

Undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) Welterweight Champion Andre Berto will defend his title against WBC No. 5-rated Challenger “Vicious” Victor Ortiz live on HBO World Championship Boxing from MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods.
