Boswell challenges pretenders to winner take all fight

While waiting for the Klitschkos to respond to his call-out, leading contender Cedric “The Boz” Boswell has issued a winner-take-all challenge to those he calls the “American Pretenders.”

The Boz(34-1) says the list of those who have pitifully failed in title shots can line up for “winner-take-all” fights with me. The Klitshkos have had a “feeding frenzy” on the Americans. Boswell shows particular disdain for Chris Arreola who Boswell claims “ loaded up wins over complete stiffs, then quit and cried like a baby when 39 year old Vitali made him look like a punching bag. Let Two-Ton Chris fight the 41 year old Boz. I will make him cry again.”

Critics are quick point out the age factor when rating the heavyweights. “Vitali at 39 and Wladimir at 35 are not spring chickens”, Boswell continues. “I am better prepared physically and mentally at 41 than I was at 31. Let me prove it.”

Boswell also claims his record shows more quality wins than any of the hand-picked Klitschko opponents. “I fought anyone who had the guts to face me. Those who refused to fight me include El Gordo Arreola, Sosnowski, Briggs, Rachman, Peter and Brewster.”

In fact The Boz holds major belts of all three major rating organizations. In March he won the NABA(WBA) and IBF Intercontinental titles over Former World Champ Oliver McCall(then 55-10, 37 Kos) who had just defeated World title contender Frez Aquendo. Just last December he knocked out Former Title Contender Owen Beck (then 29-6, 20 KOs)gaining the WBC Latino Belt which he defended in January with a two round KO of Domonique Alexander(then 20-9, 9 KOs). In 2008 Boswell won the IBF North American crown with a second round stoppage of then undefeated Roman Greenberg(then 27-0, 18 KOs). “Can any of the Pretenders match those stats before they embarrassed themselves in title fights?”

Boswell’s promoter, Kris Lawrence of the Heavyweight Factory, has assured him that earned his chance for a title shot and that he will continually fight regularly to demonstrate his world class ability against top contenders.
