Larry Hazzard, Founder of C.O.M.B.A.T.T. Gym, said "We are very grateful for Zab Judah's generosity in donating tickets to the kids of C.O.M.B.A.T.T. It exemplifies the heart of a real champion to give back to the community. It is especially important in a community like this where youngsters look up to boxers. Zab has proven himself to be a great role model for our youth and we appreciate that he is fighting at Prudential Center in Newark and making himself available during his visit to the City.."
Zab Judah explained, "I want to give back to the city of Newark. I feel kids are the future. I have a 17 month old son now and as I watch him grow I realize it's important to give kids an opportunity to make themselves better and to help them make good choices. From what I've learned about C.O.M.B.A.T.T. Gym, this is a place where the kids can do that. It's all about the kids. I am happy to donate the tickets to a great organization like Larry Hazzard's C.O.M.B.A.T.T. Gym."

The Jets' Pro Bowl Left Tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson, linebacker Bart Scott and Cleveland Browns' defensive back Mike Adams will line up alongside IBF International Heavyweight Champion Tomasz Adamek and two of New Jersey's "Real Housewives" in support of Former Undisputed Welterweight and Junior Welterweight Champion Zab "Super" Judah when he fights at Newark's Prudential Center on Friday night. The undercard action begins at 7 p.m. when Judah takes on Jose Armando Santa Cruz in a Junior Welterweight bout.
A host of celebrities plan to turn out for the event, including "Real Housewives of New Jersey" favorites Teresa Guidice and Jacqueline Laurita, who plan to sit front and center for the big event.
"My family and I are big boxing fans and we've watched Zab through the time, Ferguson said. "He's been a very exciting fighter because, in my estimation, he's one of the fighters that gave Mayweather problems. It's good to see that he's back out there fighting again. I know he's going to put on a great performance." An acquaintance of Judah's outside the ring, the 2006 first-round draft pick said that Friday will be the first time that he will have the chance to attend a live Judah fight. A fellow New York native, Ferguson noted that when Judah fought Mayweather, he thought that Zab had an opportunity to be successful. "That fight showed me how much talent he has. Seeing him fight again will be good for boxing because they will have another great talent out there. I'm sure the fans will be as happy to see him as I will."
"As an avid boxing fan and especially a huge fan of Zab Judah, I'm looking forward to coming out to support Zab on July 16, said the Browns' Adams, a Paterson, NJ native and former University of Delaware standout. I know it will be a great fight."
Adamek, who will take his turn in the spotlight at Newark's Prudential Center when he faces "Big" Michael Grant on August 21st said that he is happy to be able to sit back and enjoy the action in what has become his adopted boxing "home."
