On the Ropes is back in action with our insightful hostess, the amazing Miss Jenna J, along with her co-host Nick Powers and her special weekly guest, yours truly (aka-Rummy). This weeks episode will kick off with an exclusive interview with special guest Sugar Ray Leonard. Leonard is widely views as one of the greatest boxers to ever lace up the gloves. He was named Fighter of the Decade for the 1980s and won world titles at multiple weight classes. His most notable wins include victories over fellow Hall of Famers Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, and Marvelous Marvin Hagler just to name a few. Be sure to tune in as we discuss various aspects of Sugar Rays careers. Find out what Ray has to say about his endeavors outside of boxing and get his views and opinions on the current boxing landscape..

Next up, we will give our thoughts and feedback on the weekends pay per view boxing event between former pound for pound King Floyd Mayweather and lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez. As anticipated, Mayweather thoroughly dominated the fight and reestablished himself as one of the best pound for pound pugilists in boxing. We will share our thoughts on the impressive win, and discuss where Mayweather and Marquez go from here. We will also touch on the interesting post fight interview which saw Sugar Shane Mosley challenge Floyd Mayweather and discuss our thoughts on this possible match-up and whether or not Floyd would even be willing to take the risk to fight a proven warrior like Mosley. We will also briefly discuss the under card bout rematch between Chris John and Rocky Juarez.

We also have two other special guests on this weeks show. First up, will be reigning WBC light heavyweight champion, Jean Pascal. Pascal won his title in June when he faced and defeated Adrian Diaconu. We will get his opinions on the current 175 pound landscape and discuss his upcoming title defense against Silvio Branco this Friday, September 25. After that, we will also have a discussion with cruiserweight contender Matt Godfrey. Godfrey is coming off a split decision victory against Michael Simms just over a week ago.

Finally, we will be discussing this weeks upcoming fights, highlighted by Vitali Klitschkos defense of his WBC heavyweight title against Chris Arreola. This will be Klitschkos second defense of his title since making a return to the ring. Klitschko had originally begun negotiations with former cruiserweight champion David Haye, before Haye inexplicably took the easier route, and instead opted for a title fight against WBA belt holder Nikolay Valuev. Given the circumstances, Arreola is widely viewed as a suitable replacement. We will have an in depth discussion on this match-up as we discuss our views and predictions.

Listeners are encouraged to call in and share their thoughts on the latest boxing news and to provide questions and comments for our special guests: Sugar Ray Leonard, Jean Pascal, and Matt Godfrey. Also, if you have any questions for our guests and are unable to call in or access our message boards, please leave a comment here and we will try our best to get your questions out on the show.

Be sure to tune in!
