Sell out crowd expected for Vladimir Klitschko - David Haye!
David Haye will face world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in front of an expected 63,000 sell out crowd at the Veltins Arena, the home of FC Schalke, in Germany. Thomas Spiegel, a spokesman for the stadium, told the Steve Bunce Boxing Hour on Setanta Sports News that demand had been “amazingly big”. He said: “We’ve sold 50,000 tickets in the first week since the official sale of the tickets began. It’s been quite a success; we’re expecting a sell-out crowd of over 60,000 people in our stadium..

“We weren’t expecting the tickets to be sold quite so quickly. We knew that Wladimir Klitschko was popular in Germany, despite being a Ukrainian. This fight has created an amazing buzz.”
Spiegel revealed that plans were afoot to increase the stadiums capacity to accommodate the thousands of fans wanting a ticket.
He added: “Right now there’s a space where usually the pitch is. There are plans to create space for another 6000, 7000 people. There will be more tickets made available.
“Right now there are no more tickets available because all the tickets we had prepared for the first phase sold. But there will be another allocation available in the next few days. There’s no need to buy them on the black market.”
