News: Danny Williams vs Albert Sosnowski; Stephen Foster Jnr; Delvin Rodriguez

Danny Williams will be joint top of an explosive bill that promises fireworks when he collides with Albert Sosnowski in an international heavyweight bout at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday, November 8th 2008. Williams is part of the second show from Hennessy Sports that will be screened by ITV Sport following the knockout success last month of Jon Thaxtonís European Lightweight Title win..

Former world title challenger Williams (Brixton) faces Polandís Albert Sosnowski over ten rounds following the withdrawal of John McDermott from a British heavyweight title fight that was scheduled to feature on the show.

Sosnowski has a formidable record of stopping 26 opponents in 45 fights with just two defeats and is a strong opponent for British heavyweight champion Williams.

Junior Witter (Bradford) will also have his first fight since losing the prestigious WBC World Light-Welterweight Title in May on the same bill against an opponent yet to be finalised.

Former British Light-Welterweight champion Lenny Daws (Carshalton), Colchester knockout artist Lee Purdy, title hopeful Gareth Couch (High Wycombe), Belfast boxer Kevin O'Hara as well as unbeaten duo Steve OíMeara (Wembley) and Dwayne Lewis (Canning Town) make up a cracking bill that promises fireworks.

The action will be screened live by ITV4.

Salford's Stephen Foster Jnr hopes it will be second time lucky when he challenges for the WBO World Super-Featherweight title almost a year after he came close to winning it.

He challenges new champion Nicky Cook for the belt on Saturday 6 December at the ExCeL London, and promises not to blow it like he did against then champion Alex Arthur last December.

Despite being dropped by Arthur in the ninth round with a body shot, Foster rallied back and floored Arthur in the eleventh, but didn't capitalise on it and the Scotsman went on to win on points. Arthur then lost his title to Cook in September.

"It's fantastic to be fighting for the world title again and this time I won't let the opportunity pass me. It won't be case of third time lucky, this time I'm going to win it," said the 28-year-old.

"I came so close to beating Arthur last year and I'm still kicking myself about it now. If only I had followed up when I hurt him in the eleventh round with some more big punches then I could have been crowned champion,"

"Anyway, that was a year ago and I've moved on, learnt, and improved and I'm ready to give Cook a real fight for his title,"

"He had better be prepared for a long hard fight because the title is coming back with me."

Cook v Foster Jnr headlines a blockbuster show that also features Enzo Maccarinelli challenging Johnathon Banks for the Vacant WBO World Cruiserweight title plus the return of Amir Khan against Oisin Fagan. Audley Harrison's exciting heavyweight showdown against Prizefighter 1 winner Martin Rogan heads up the undercard along with Anthony Small, Derek Chisora, Jamie Cox and Liam, Michael and Ryan Walsh.
