Inkin pulls out of Froch fight... again

Mark Pickering: Unbeaten Russian Denis Inkin has withdrawn from his rescheduled WBC super-middleweight title eliminator against Carl Froch after reportedly slipping a disc in training. Inkin pulled out of the original March 29th date after being laid low by a virus. Froch's promoter Mick Hennessy has worked around the clock to bring in a world-ranked replacement for the May 10th bill in Nottingham and is set to achieve exactly that by finalising negotiations with former IBF champion Alejandro Berrio..

The Colombian banger is well noted for his punching power with all but one of his 26 victories coming by way of knockout.

Berrio, 31, lost his IBF title in October to Romanian standout Lucien Bute.
