Froch Ready For Inkin; Bladt Returns On Vester – Saku Undercard

Hennessy Sports in association with GoldenPalace.com are delighted to announce that the recently postponed Froch vs Inkin fight will now be taking place at the Nottingham Arena on the 10th May 2008. Chief support on the night will still be John Murray vs John Fewkes plus the majority of the undercard as previously advertised..

Carl Froch said:

“I’m delight my promoter has managed to reschedule this fight, myself and Denis have unfinished business from his win over me in the amateurs. This is a brilliant fight as we are the number 1 & 2 rated fighters in the WBC rankings; both unbeaten with excellent records and high knock out ratios. It doesn’t get much better than this”.

The Froch vs Inkin fight will be broadcast live on ITV1, with further fights from the under-card broadcast on ITV4. Coverage will also be simulcast on ITV.com

Bladt Returns On Vester – Saku Undercard

Former European welterweight champion Christian Bladt (31-10-1, 8 KOs) returns to action on April 4 in Aarhus, Denmark, when Team Vester, in cooperation with Risum Boxing, promotes at the NRGI Arena.

Bladt will take on an opponent yet to be announced on the undercard of an interesting clash between former IBF world title challenger Allan Vester and reigning African champion and WBC # 19 Hasan “The Hitman” Saku.

The co-feature of the evening will be between Danish super middleweight Fawaz Nasir and Tanzanian puncher Maneno Oswald, and the card will, among others, also include super featherweight prospect Kim “Golden Boy” Poulsen against TBA.

The show will also present amateur boxing, kickboxing and performances by some of Denmark’s leading rap artists. Tickets available via www.billetnet.dk and www.vester-boxing.dk
