Shields, Barnica, and Jose Diaz Fight on Browning Card In Houston This Thursday Night

23.06.04 - Browning Boxing comes out blazing this Thursday night at the Park Plaza Hotel Astrodome (Formerly the Radisson Hotel Astrodome) in Houston Texas. In the Main Event, Middleweight Chase “White Tiger” Shields 14-0 (10 KO’s) will make his return to the ring after a five-month lay off to defend his Texas junior middleweight title.

Also featured on the card will be the always-exciting and undefeated Featherweight Jose “Beto” Barnica 7-0 (4 KO’s) with an opponent yet to be determined. If you’ve never seen him fight, don’t miss him this Thursday night! To date he is the most powerful Featherweight I’ve seen in some time and he is a diamond in the rough that will soon be known throughout the boxing world if just continues to do what he has done so far.

In addition Lightweight Juan Diaz’s brother, undefeated Featherweight Jose Diaz 2-0 (1 KO) will also be fighting. So far, Jose Diaz has impressed and he will look to continue that streak, as he’ll be making his third fight against an opponent yet to be named. This will probably be your last chance to catch Jose before he begins to be featured on bigger fight cards out of state. So don’t delay, this should be a great night of Boxing so get your tickets now!

Tickets are $25 for general admission and $50 for ringside. Doors open at 6:30 and the first bell will sound at 7:30 pm. The Park Plaza Hotel is located on the Corner of Kirby Drive and 610 across the street from the Astroworld Parking lot. The address is 8686 Kirby Drive.
