Williams, 21, will return to the ring in late January. Details will be announced soon by his promoter, Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment and Sports.

“2008 is going to be a big year for Aaron and this is a great way to kick it off,” said William’s co-manager, Albert Falcon.

Williams closed-out the 2007 year with four knock-outs in five bouts, including a devastating KO of Deleon Tinsely on ESPN 2. Tinsley went on to defeat undefeated Alfredo Escalera in a one-sided affair. Williams had hoped to meet Escalera in early ’08.
