Susi Kentikian wants Halmichs WIBF belt

The WIBF female flyweight title will be up for grabs on Friday night for the second time in the last seven days. The belt became vacant after the retirement of ring legend Regina Halmich, who defended it for the final time against Hagar Shmoulefeld Finer last week.
Now WBA world champion "Killer Queen" Susi Kentikian (18-0, 14 KOs) will fighting to claim Halmich's former title against Nadia Hokmi (9-5-1, 5 KOs) on Friday night's ProSieben Fight Night..

The former record champion Halmich will be at ringside - she will be doing live commentary at the „ProSieben Fight Nights“ with Jan Stecker.

"I am so prouud to fight for Regina's belt," said Kentikian. "She made women's boxing big. Regina is my role model."

Kentikian and Hokmi have fought before with Kentikian winning a split decision.

"This time it will not be so close and I will show Nadia how strong I really am," the "Killer Queen" promises, "especially with the audience in my hometown of Hamburg to support me."
