Bobby Pacquiao Defeats Trejo

By Scott Frake: Super featherweight Bobby Pacquiao (28-13-3,13 KOs) stopped Fernando Trejo (30-13-4, 18 KOs) tonight at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, in Cabazon, California, after Trejo suffered an arm injury in the 4th round, prompting for the referee Tony Crebs to stop the bout at 1:14 of the 4th round. Trejo, 33, apparently broke his arm in the 4th round. It was a bad turn of luck for Trejo, who was easily beating Pacquiao, 26, the younger brother of super featherweight Manny Pacquiao.

It should be no surprise that Bobby Pacquiao was losing to Trejo, because Bobby is quite used to losing, having previously been beaten 13 times before tonight. Trejoís injury, however, appeared to save Pacquio from yet another loss on his record.

Though Pacquiao winded up with the victory, itís nothing to crow about because he looked average during most of the bout and was well on his way to losing before Trejoís bizarre injury.
