IBF Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko will face WBO Champion Sultan Ibragimov on February 23 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Devis Boschiero, 20-0 with 10 KOs won the WBA Intercontinental super featherweight title Friday night in Italy by disqualification over Fabrizio Trotta, 9-3-2 with 4 KOs. Trotta tried to start fast but Boschiero initiated a wicked body attack that forced Trotta to repeatedly hold. In the seventh round the referee halted the contest for repeated holding.

World Boxing Association featherweight champion Chris John, 40-0-1 with 21 KOs will defend his title for the ninth time against Roinet Caballero, 22-7-1 with 16 KOs at the Senayan Indoor Stadium in Jakarat Raya, Indoniesia on January 26th.

Fernando Vargas, 26-4 with 22 KOs will take on Ricardo Mayorga, 28-6-1 with 23 KOs at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California for the vacant World Boxing Council Continental Americas super middleweight title. The bout will be telecast on Showtime pay per view. Tickets are still available for the event which begins at three pm. The televised broadcast starts at seven pm Pacific Time.
